I agree. I thought it was just her, but then eventually I started hearing the term "toxic environment" used a lot on the news when women were complaining about work environment. Shrug.

I had a female colleague who quit bc she said the environment was too toxic. I work in a male dominated field, so the way we do things is very matter of fact, direct, and objective. She couldn't handle it, submitted multiple complaints to administration. Then she eventually quit and is now staying at home with her parents despite having half a mil in student loans. Their degrees/seats should have been given to men, who will most likely utilize the training to benefit the public and our military for multiple decades. Decades. Rather than a few years after training. What a waste.
