This is why US law has concepts like "recklessly" and "negligently".

Yeah, try looking in SA's academics threads if you fancy a laugh.

GBS was literally agog when a link to one of their threads was the at the top of Reddit and there were a whole 20,000 readers. Goons have a real problem with scale.

The rule has always been that raids the mods like are allowed. See also the wikipedia defacement competitions.

I think the point they're trying to make is that the police treat all assaults against men with the utmost regard. This is not true. Assault has a very low chance of conviction so the police usually can't be bothered.

Strauss-Kahn has a history of sexual assault and rape allegations far longer than than Diallo's record of false rape claims. This accusation has hardly sent him to the poor house either.

There were a hell of a lot of accusations made against him, by many people.

Controlled is the wrong word, constrained perhaps. I am not saying that the control is total, but intellect is not the slave to our emotions, nor are emotions slaves to intellect. The claim made in #6 is that too much effort put into controlling anger leads to depression.

Well, I'm only on the second page and that book is explicitly stating that point 6 is not yet known to be wrong. While there is a valid argument to be made that he's just chucking something out there without having conducted the appropriate research, "Clinical depression is something quite different..." is not that argument.

Yeah, I think you're projecting someone else's opinion onto what this guy said.

Rule 1 of pasta, don't post where it can be seen next to the old pasta.

Do you have anything more to add than that? Anger is a chemical state, depression is a chemical state, emotions can be controlled and I don't see you presenting evidence to counter the notion that over control of anger leads to depression.

Where does he say that it's bullshit? Precious much?

Trying involves making an argument. kloo's attempts at making an argument were lazy at best.

All you did was drop a link and run away. Cowardly and dumb. No exposition just mockery.

It's possible to make a point without being a shithead about it. You know, with words and exposition rather than a snide comparison of an argument to a nursery rhyme.

kloo did nothing to defend his point. He just took the piss and left it at that. If you're starting a subreddit and the first thing people do is take the piss you're going to want to clamp down or the subreddit will die and early death.

You did not refute, you rebutted, your statement that a thing is so does not make it so.

Even if he was abusive to her for 20 years this is not self defence. She had plenty of opportunity (20 years) to leave. She didn't.

Which makes it doubly retarded, trashing other peoples shit is how to encourage hierarchical structures as people will run to daddy.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
