He would feel cheap to split the bill, but since I was completely depending on him, I was feeling independant when I paid my part. I guess it all depends on the situation. Where I come from (Québec), here is the rule : "the declaration of birth must be signed by the father or the mother or both, and the declaration will be valid only as regards the person or persons who have signed it." | 0 | MindblownCorrect me if I'm wrong. I thought if the guy doesn't sign the birth certificate, he has no legal obligations. So I guess, it is fair.
