The dating market is tough for men because naturally, women want the top percent man and he may not be that albeit a good guy. So, my first thought is that he may not be the type of guy that every girl seeks but then again, 20% of men are involved with 80% of the women population. This leaves a lot of inexperienced men. Either that or he’s lying. If he’s lying, I have no idea what he could be hiding. Worth doing some more digging if he seems to be a top tier man.

Exactly, I had a real aha moment when I realized I didn’t actually want to look younger, I want to look good at any age. Looking younger also means looking inexperienced/naive and I don’t want to attract men who are seeking those things because it also means they are either in my age pool preying on that or they are in a younger age pool than my own.

Ugh I remember doing this in highschool with my NV ex who asked me to the prom over the phone the day before the deadline. I handed him the $100 I got for my birthday so he could look like he paid 🤦🏽‍♀️ his mom ended up paying me back at least.

Ugh say it again. The fact that Leo isn’t blacklisted for grooming his current gf is everything that’s wrong with hollyweird.

This and Favorite Part by Mac Miller (rip) and Ariana Grande, with the chorus being “you just don’t know how beautiful you are, and baby that’s my favorite part.” Just goes to show how open and accepted it is to pursue beautiful women with low self esteem.

You sound like you’re making assessments based off little knowledge on the community. FDS has a whole reading list for self improvement. And the basis of looking for a high value man is to acquire the traits that you look for in a partner. What more needs to be said than that?

I debated with a scrote that argued for women being comfortable being the breadwinners and taking care of men because “men have been doing it for centuries” and got dodgy when I pointed out that women literally had no choice. Scrotes are gonna scrote.

I used to have this coolgirl mindset where I didn’t get bothered by my partner talking about how attractive other women were. OP is probably telling the truth and isn’t bothered by it, but that’s the problem. Op, you should be bothered!! Bothered that your husband feels comfortable enough to blatantly disrespect you and the fact that you aren’t upset doesn’t mean you’re winning. It means you really need to re-evaluate your standards and read the FDS handbook while you’re at it.

You’re lucky that alcohol could show you his true colors. His inhibitions were lowered and he showed you how he really thinks and feels. Consider this a gift and send him on his way.

Thanks! That’s what I told him and he shut up. Luckily, I’ve made plans to move out since I joined this sub. I’m just hoping my out-of-state job offer doesn’t fall through with everything going on.

Literally what’s been happening to me. I’ve done both of the grocery runs to stock up for this and all he did was laugh about it and tell me I’m overreacting.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
