Dont put yourself in situations where you are forced to be someone you’re not. Always best to be outwardly honest about yourself and in an environment where you feel comfortable and have something to talk about. Example - i hate dance music so i don’t meet women at clubs. Instead i go to local rock shows and like approaching between bands when it’s quiet. Since she’s there too, we already have enough in common to get a genuine conversation going. Edit a few words

It depends on the workplace - it’s a lot easier to flirt with coworkers and hook up if you’re in a bar/restaurant environment than a 9-5 office. A tool in your toolkit.... be careful it doesn’t become a crutch or a consistent plan A. I relied on online dating for meeting women too long and it really impacted how I approached women IRL when I saw a girl who I wanted to talk to. Took some time to get confidence again making cold approaches and not saying something stupid. Still working on it tbh.

Maybe I’m missing something? Why not just go for the number? Edit: I guess I take your meaning about concerns over cat fishing, but if you get there and she’s clearly not the same person then you’re totally within your right to split before any money gets spent.

Maybe I’m old, but why do people go for insta nowadays? The only times I ever try to link up with a girl on social media is if it’s looking like things are getting real serious. A few back and forths on the app, then ask for her number. If you’re not comfortable doing that, then give her yours instead.
