As a young man trying to find someone to marry (or at least to consider marrying), these stories make me fairly nervous. I am interested to know if there were any signs or red flags you saw in your relationship with this woman before you were married and had children? 0	Work uniform gender inequality My point is that the policy is not about making men uncomfortable and making women comfortable. The policy is about making men look like businessmen and making women look like businesswomen. And society, fairly or not, has different expectations about what constitutes this. Yes, businesses are often willing to spend money on things that improve comfort for everyone and allow employees to concentrate on their work (hopefully meaning they spend less time complaining on reddit, for example.) -28	Work uniform gender inequality Men and women have different bodies and hence different norms about dress. This is not going to change, just get with the program. The fact is, if I came into an office and the men were all wearing shorts and sandals, I'd feel this was less professional than an office where the men wore trousers and closed shoes.
