You shouldn't just walk if they ask for a drink, you're there for your own amusement, it shouldn't faze you. You can make a quip about it but honestly no acknowledgement of her ask is required. If she repeatedly fails to amuse you then yeah you leave. The bigger issue is it happened with 5 out of 7 girls. That's a lot so he may want to think about how he can generate more interest/intrigue up front. There's a couple things he should look at. His appearance. Is he fit. Does he look sharp, unique …

I didn't say any of it was easy and I have no idea whether you're trying hard or not, how would I? I just said you should make up your mind about whether you can change this stuff or not, because on the one hand, you seem to want to and have made some effort, but on the other, you keep claiming your state of mind is the fault of other people (saying it's because you've been treated badly, you need people to want you, etc.). Personally I struggled with a lot of the emotions you've described. It t…

Your issue is that you have accepted and even medicalized your anti-social behavior. As stated in this thread, being pro-social in some form or another is basically a prerequisite for having friends, let alone a relationship. I don't know how severe your autism is but you need to consider the following possibilities: 1 - Everything you've said about your inability to make friends and your social intolerance is true and immutable. You can't change it. If this is the case you should try to accept …

Your game isn't advanced if you've approached 400 women and it's only gotten you laid with two fat chicks. It means you have no AA but you're getting lost somewhere in the process of escalation (probably in generating attraction, because as a student wearing H&M and living with his parents, you have some handicaps to overcome). Get a copy of Magic Bullets, it'll help you figure out why your approaches are not turning into sex or dates or whatever. If you're gonna do cold approach, videos aren't …

No it is not subjective. There's plenty of research backing up the facts that, for example, women are more likely to choose a man with a strong jawline, and men are more likely to choose a woman who has big eyes. It's fine if you have different preferences but there are factors which objectively make someone more attractive to most of the population, you can't will this fact out of existence, this is what most people are referring to when they talk about ratings.

The thing is this will never happen. Males pursuing females is the dominant mating strategy for the vast majority of animals including nearly all mammals. It's a product of evolution, the males spend resources on demonstrating fitness (like a peacock's plumes), the females spend resources on making a baby, when both a male and a female are good at this, babies are made and the species continues. Individuals who don't dance this dance don't pass their genes to the next generation, so their partic…

Enjoy your cats in that case! If your attitude is this negative, what's in it for the guy who's thinking of dating you?

People on dating apps "lie" about their looks all the time with all the filters and crap available out there. Yeah, to figure out their character I think you have to date them a bit, or get to know them in some other way. It takes time. In any type of personal relationship, I like to give people some rope, then wait and see whether they hang themselves. For example if you want to know whether someone's a cheater, don't lecture them about your opinions on cheating, or make threats about what you'…

In general: he's honest, open, and treats other people the way he wants to be treated. Specifically when considering him as a partner: Limited dating/sexual history (the statistical correlation between promiscuity and infidelity is high) Healthy relationship with his family Likes kids and wants to be a Dad The secret is that you're looking for a guy who won't cheat on you because he wants to be a good dad and understands that cheating on or leaving mom would hurt his kids. Desire for kids and a …

This is an awesome question. The biggest problem with the dating market in the Tinder era is that women aren't screening for good character and a predilection for monogamy as much as they used to. Instead they're screening for the hottest guy with the best pics. Hard to blame them because that's the easiest thing to assess in a dating app, but if a woman wants to help, don't do that. Pick a guy based on whether he's got integrity and wants to settle down. Not based on how rich and hot he is. The…

"Taller than me" is not the average woman's bar. "8 inches taller than me" is: https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/after-service/201909/5-reasons-why-women-and-men-care-about-height Presuming the study which found this is correct it's a fact that women on the whole have unrealistic expectations regarding height. The average guy is five inches taller than the average woman, but the average woman wants a guy who's 8 inches taller than her. Until women temper this expectation, people of both ge…

Partially true. A woman's SMV/dateability hinges heavily on her looks (which are relatively simple to improve) and her age (which she can't change). A man's SMV depends more on his social status (including signals of this like wealth), which he can influence at any point in his life, but it's a ton of work and can be hard to figure out how. One of the dating apps, I think Tinder, released a huge anonymized database of message metadata at one point, and messages received by women declined exponen…

I doubt that Jenna was the first woman Jason Derulo cheated on. It's actually pretty simple. A woman can expect a man to cheat on her if he has a history of cheating (or perhaps a history of high promiscuity in general). If he doesn't have that history, she's pretty safe. This is all true when the genders are reversed as well. What happens all the time, and what probably happened here, was that Jenna saw the man she wanted to see instead of the man that really was. She was blinded by his status,…

If you mean to ask whether men have a harder time mating than women (find a partner, settle down, have kids) then the answer is statistically yes. DNA analysis indicates that women have been more likely to reproduce than men throughout pretty much all of history - sometimes the ratio has been as bad as 17 to 1. More recently it has gotten better for men but women are probably still ahead. For one thing slightly more men are born than women. What's interesting is to think about how this squares w…
