While I think it's a bit difficult to feel totally bad for them, women have to take most of the blame for this behavior. Most men in our society have been raised and ingrained with the idea that in order to get fulfillment in life, they must fall in love with a woman, and proceed to win her over, no matter how perilous it may be to his well-being. That quote is actually only partial. “I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.” That's the whole quote, sounds to me like she is trying to absolve herself of any responsibility for her shitty behavior.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
