Asking for references to informationSounds like a great idea. I don't know how to go about doing that. With that being said, after I am done writing my research paper I am going to post it for everyone to use. It will be a google docs with heads on every topic followed by subtopics. As more information comes in I will be adding to it. Oncefa2 talked about that would be a great help! | /r/MensRights | 08/04/22 02:54 PM
Asking for references to informationThank you for the suggestion. What I was getting at with systemic sexism is what Karen Straughan and Paul Elam spoke about. Paul said to understand mens issues you would have to understand an avalanche one snowflake at a time. Karen compared it to the death of a thousand cuts. My assumption is (If it is an assumption, I believe the evidence backs it up) is that all of the 'psychological trauma' that a man endures from society from every system, starting at his birth to adulthood is what brings h… | /r/MensRights | 07/04/22 03:51 AM
Why men don't talk openly about their feelingsCan you please post the screenshot? Thank you in advance | /r/MensRights | 07/04/22 01:29 AM
Asking for references to informationThis information will fit nicely into my paper. Thank you so much for sharing, it will be very useful to what I am attempting to do. | /r/MensRights | 07/04/22 01:27 AM
Asking for references to informationI heard Karen Straughan talk about this in her video of the Mental Health Care crisis of men. In that video she talks about how women will have a 'suicide attempt' knowing that when they call 911 they will most likely be fine. Whereas men do not see a way out or getting any help so they just use a gun to make sure it gets done. It is very very sad. | /r/MensRights | 07/04/22 01:26 AM
Asking for references to informationThis post made me really angry at what is and has been happening to men. I will have to check out your profile to dig deeper into this. Thank you so much for the time in writing out this response! | /r/MensRights | 07/04/22 01:25 AM
Asking for references to informationThank you for the viewpoint. This is something I will have to ponder on. | /r/MensRights | 07/04/22 01:23 AM
Asking for references to informationI do see where you are coming from. Do you have any suggestions of an alternate word i could use in place of 'sexism' in 'system sexism'? | /r/MensRights | 07/04/22 01:22 AM
Asking for references to informationThis is great information. Thank you so much | /r/MensRights | 07/04/22 01:18 AM
Asking for references to informationYou certainly are not wrong! I can't stop but to think of what Paul Elam said about how passive everyone is and if the injustices suffered by men happened to any other protected class or demographic group that there would be protests from coast to coast. Sadly, it really shows how society views men and how even many men view themselves. | /r/MensRights | 06/04/22 02:42 PM
Asking for references to informationI was thinking about doing the same thing. I wrote around 5.5k words last night thanks the generous help of all of you on this site. This is turning out to be much bigger then I thought and wouldn't surprise me if it hit 20k+ words or even 30k+. Once I am done writing this I am going to ask someone who is good in English to proofread my grammar and punctuation if possible. My English is fairly good but not perfect. After this I will share the google Docs publicly which will be easy to navigate w… | /r/MensRights | 06/04/22 02:40 PM
Asking for references to informationI will check this out when I can. I am very grateful for this resource! | /r/MensRights | 06/04/22 05:59 AM
Asking for references to informationAh, thank you! I thought I heard resource objects somewhere from him. I must have heard it from somewhere else. Maybe I should get some sleep! I am citing everything in my paper with quotes so hopefully I won't make any glaring mistakes like this! | /r/MensRights | 06/04/22 05:52 AM
Asking for references to informationAmazing! I am putting this into my paper right now! Thank you so much for your contribution! | /r/MensRights | 06/04/22 05:51 AM
Asking for references to informationI just read through that study. That is mind blowing! I am truly shocked that I have not heard anyone talk about that before! | /r/MensRights | 06/04/22 04:40 AM
Asking for references to informationMany of the women I work with have children who are boys and are very worried about their future growing up. Also, I live in a small community so I think that has a lot of bearing on individuals listening to one another. I do 100% understand where you are coming from though. I have faced a ton of sexism from women in my life. | /r/MensRights | 06/04/22 01:32 AM
Asking for references to informationThis is so true. I haven't done research into the Duluth Model. I will put that on my list. Thank you for bringing that up in greater detail my friend! | /r/MensRights | 06/04/22 12:46 AM
Asking for references to informationI can relate so strongly to what you are saying. For the record I have almost taken my life on numerous occasions in the past and am extremely critical of any compliments I receive. You remind me of when Warren Farrel talked about men being viewed as resource objects. If you ever need to talk please reach out to me. I am someone who has had a lived experience of what you are going through. | /r/MensRights | 06/04/22 12:45 AM
Asking for references to informationThis is in America | /r/MensRights | 05/04/22 11:58 PM
Asking for references to informationI 100% understand why you are saying that and where you are coming from. Fortunately, where I work they are not on board with the mainstream. Furthermore, many of them went as far as to watching the Red Pill Documentary and talked about how shocked they were with what men are going through and opened a dialogue to talking about it. | /r/MensRights | 05/04/22 11:50 PM
Asking for references to informationI agree with everything that you said but disagree to not talk about sexism to prevent suicide. The paper I am writing is how society is systemically sexist against men and as a result creates situation and circumstances that lead men to committing suicide. Everything you stated is grounded in sexism towards men. Why would you say not to focus on these things that are destroying men (which are done from systemic sexism)? The links you gave are extremely helpful and will be using in my paper! | /r/MensRights | 05/04/22 11:32 PM
Asking for references to informationThis suicide part is really important. Thank you so much! I will make sure to put that in my paper | /r/MensRights | 05/04/22 10:13 PM
Asking for references to informationWell this is a goldmine! Thank you very much! | /r/MensRights | 05/04/22 10:13 PM
Asking for references to informationThis does work. I will copy and paste this to put in the end section of my paper with resources and facts to consider. Thank you for your contribution! | /r/MensRights | 05/04/22 09:41 PM
