For all their faults, I appreciate girls for how idealist they can be. I used to be annoyed that girls were never philosophical, but Sometimes you just want to live in the moment and stop being so cynical. They have a childlike wonder that I will never have again.

Think of a time in your life when you ignored someone's advice. If someone is fat, you could remind them every day to eat less. This will do nothing. But when the fat person comes to YOU and says "how did you get in shape?" it means they are accepting their own agency and they are now receptive to advice. You don't help people when they aren't receptive. It has nothing to do with TRP.

Discipline is more important than motivation. Use the motivation when it comes to become disciplined. Motivation comes and goes like the wind. I still haven't figured that one out. When I am motivated, it feels like I am on a drug. I don't think my brain could sustain it all day every day. DISCIPLINE IS NOT FUN. But discipline builds character and self-esteem when your habits are no longer habits and they just become YOU. Figure out what environments and activities influence your mental state. W…

Scrolling though reddit top posts clicking clicking clicking is mentally draining for me but reading a research paper or a fiction book is mentally invigorating.

Hence, dealing with loneliness is not something that you can do on a temporary and ongoing basis, rather, loneliness is the prevailing reality and you have to determine what exactly you are going to do knowing that that is true Blowing my mind right now man

While you spend your weekend eating right, hitting the weights, shopping for nicer clothes, and engaging in 1 or 2 interesting social events that challenge your comfort zone, you feel good though can't help but be reminded how alone you really are. You see reminders everywhere that people are currently living the life you want. Hot girls with cool guys on dates, big groups of cool friends at a restaurant together, good-looking couples enjoying each other's affections everywhere you look. It is l…

Depression robs people of motivation to go out and do things It absolutely does, but that doesn't mean it's not sometimes a natural symptom of living a shit lifestyle.

You don't give away your protection and security for free "I have to earn this guys affection, that means he probably won't give it away to other women" Wow

Recognize that any gift you give her will never make her love you more or keep her committed. Never do it out of obligation. Never buy flowers when she's mad, you will look like a manipulative little bitch to her. If it feels natural, do it. My girl came from a poor background and didn't buy enough new clothes. We were walking by the store and I said "Go in here, I'm buying you new shoes". If it feels good then don't worry what some people on the internet want you to do.

I have been watching internet porn for 14 years. Last September I quit watching porn and masturbating cold-turkey. I did this of my own volition and without any knowledge of the nofap sub, I only knew that 1 hour porn sessions left me feeling drained and unmotivated. A week or two later my sex drive went crazy and I had some of the best sex of my life. That lasted for a few weeks, and I then went into the worst depression I have ever had in my life through November-December. I hate to play inter…

When a girl shit tests you in a relationship, the worst thing you can do is talk about your feelings. Feminism is a giant shit test and MRAs response is what? To talk about their feelings.

That's definitely an option, I just want him to understand that to some extent all women are gold-diggers, because it is their nature. That way, some day he can love a women appropriately for what she is.

You're looking at this from a mans point of view. Women aren't necessarily thinking "This guy has so much money, he can buy me stuff". They are thinking, "This guy is BETTER than me, he is SMARTER than me, he is more SUCCESSFUL than me, he can PROVIDE for me, and I want to be a part of his world". If you tap into your protector/provider instincts, it can be fulfilling to take care of a girl, if you stay in the leadership role.

Isn't one of the tenets of TRP that women are naturally inclined to use sex as a currency of some sort and that men should accept this and alter behavior accordingly? You are correct. Perhaps I have a misunderstanding of the community. Can you explain? It seems as though there is one contingent that chastises and mocks women for this behavior and another that claims that it is just part of their biology. TRP says sluts (women who give up their value too easily) are no good for long term relation…

So is she projecting? These are some of the things I would expect to hear from a girl who is in love with her man. Isn't the problem with us betas that we give affection to women in the way that we expect it back from them?

I subscribe to the Patrice O'neal redpill attitude. Even if you want to remain monogamous, you still have to have a player attitude. You must have the option to sleep with other women, even if you never follow through with it. If your wife keeps herself fit and attractive into her 30s/40s, she is doing the same thing: maintaining the ability to sleep with other men, but the result is you being attracted to her. This is my way of explaining red pill to people without disgusting them.

The guy is self aware enough that he's gonna figure things out. I didn't see where he screwed up so bad to warrant your reaction.

I'm gonna take your word for it because I don't know you or your friend. The situation you describe is very rare, and that's why your bf wouldn't see it the way you do. I dated a girl once who told me her guy friend was "like a brother" to her. Soon enough she was committing incest.

Because the guy who went to dinner with you almost certainly felt there was a possibility of having sex with you. What else do you think his motivation for meeting with you was?

A lot of people in this sub have given up on long term relationship because they provide little benefit to men who can attract many types of women. What type of men are you attracted to?
/r/TheRedPill09/08/13 07:40 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
