I am so tired of these AI slops…

Thank you for sharing that. I live in a blue state and in a very progressive city, full of enraged unhappy middle aged feminist women. Like yours, my husband has also done a tremendous job in educating and preparing my son for this crazy world. The “funny” and weird thing is that almost all boy moms that I talk have the same feelings. And we all say it’s difficult because we can’t openly talk about that, or we will be accused of misogyny, transphobia, etc.

It’s not, it is something that has been bothering me for a long time and I only had the time to write a post about it today.

For this kid, it’s mostly his mother that seems to be pushing for that.

My concern with that and why I made this comment is that the feminist and woke women are also the ones e.g getting to law school and potentially writing the laws in the future or being judges, and the situation tends to get worse for men.

I don’t know why I haven’t seen this. I have 2 brothers and I haven’t noticed anything similar happening to them while we were growing up. I feel bad about not seeing it before. My parents also helped to open my eyes after they had their first grandson (my son). My friends who are also doctors and have boys all feel the same way. So I think there’s maybe some hope?

South America has many countries like the ones you mentioned. Brazil, Argentina, Chile for example.

What do you mean? Most boys are into sports.

Yes. The schools don’t know how to handle boys. As a mom of an 11yo I am seeing this since he joined school. The priority order is LGBT kids, then special kids, then girls and boys are their last concern. No one cares and small age-appropriate incidents trigger a lot of conversations with them and with parents. In my son’s school they removed the sports in the recess because boys were too loud and didn’t let girls or a trans kid play. Of course without sports during recess, the boys started to f…

Yes. As a parent of a 10yo boy (I also have a daughter) who goes to a public school in a blue city and state, I am very concerned and the worst part is that I don’t know what to do. I feel that my boy and his friends always have to watch out to not piss off the teachers, parents of girls, progressive parents. I am always walking in eggshells when meeting with teachers or principal. The society is castrating boys in a vile way, but they are not stupid and they can see that they are treated unfair…

I just read a post in r/parenting about a husband that doesn’t want to give his boy princesses as gifts and every comment in that sub is saying he’s transphobic, misogynistic, shitty… WTF? I agree with the comments here that a break from internet especially from Reddit would make you feel better.

I think I expressed myself incorrectly. I am not blaming them exclusively. I guess I was trying to brainstorm with my husband that it would be a bit ironic that the same people that the Democrats insist on defending, like women, LGBT, immigrants, etc. would be somehow spared from fighting in a war to defend the country.

I’m a woman and I have a boy and a girl and I voted for Trump. My son and my daughter both need a better future. But especially boys need to be treated well with the same respect that girls receive. What I see with both is that with my boy, the society, teachers and everyone else are much harsher and censoring than with my girl. My boy is 10, very smart and he’s aware that they treat all the girls and other minorities better than him and his friends. I am almost certain that my son’s generation …
