What are you saying about age gap relationships? I've had two relationships with a 14 year age gap and the power is balanced. Decision making is democratic. I was 22 when I dated my ex who was 35 and we had an intellectually stimulating and a meaningful relationship. Im sick and tired of people not knowing how real life relationships are

No one approached me like this before and the first time it happened, a guy who's also waiting for the bus, talked to me about the traffic situation. He took my number and my insta. He brought me to his friend's party and they all hovered at me and asked me questions. I accepted their follow requests but everyone started messaging me and it was overwhelming. The guy is sweet but not well read and I couldnt continue a discussion without explaining what a word means. He and his friends keeps on se…

Thank you for this. I am turning 27 and im worried i will be lonely being alone. I tried online dating and i can resonate with feeling depressed when I get rejected or ghosted. I want to normalize being single and be excited with my life without a man.

Back in university I have classmates who talked about the half age plus seven rule. The age of the younger person should not be less than half the age of the older plus seven years. I'm not sure if they followed this. I didnt.

I should try different moves. But I think my face is giving my feelings right away so I have to work on that too.

you know what, I have the same problem. But whenever I ask my man, he'll tell me he doesn't know how and I have to help him find out. damn.

Holy shit this is my problem right now. My boyfriend has to "push" me so I can be independent when I'm with him. I told him I felt like I'm losing myself (independent and a decision maker) when I'm with him. He's my first boyfriend so I really don't know how this relationship thingy works. The big age gap also doesn't help because he can literally baby me. Anyway, my solution is to be independent in some ways (eg when deciding for what to eat and where to go)

I have strong beliefs with my virginity -- not because I wanted to be "pure" for my future husband, but because I want to preserve the decision of choosing who to love. My first time was amazing and spontaneous, but eventually, I realized that sex is fun and sometimes smile to myself that I restricted myself to such pleasure that I could've experienced years back.

I also have the same dilemma about losing my virginity five months ago. I was too shielded with principles and the thought of 'losing my market value'. I told myself that I wouldn't have sex with anyone I don't love. After spontaneous encounters, I met a man who is genuine, smart, and refined. I decided that I will make love to him because I believe that opening up yourself to someone is a decision that you must make. Now he is my first (and I hope, last) boyfriend, we've traveled to different c…

I don't enjoy porn because of the lack of emotional connection. I totally agree with your analysis.

what sites would you recommend? I've been reading books but since I'm piled with lots of academic texts, I rarely have time for a 300-page erotica.

Culture is, indeed, very interesting. In Asia, most of the everyday hygiene products have whitening component to it. Being fair skinned is a sign of a higher socioeconomic status.

I have the same experience but in my case, I cut contact before I fall in love because men will take advantage of you when they know you have feelings for them. There is still a bit of RadFem in me but now, I am trying to be vulnerable and experience sharing feelings and ideas.

I don't understand the problem of this post. You are worried that the guy might think differently of you (eg that youre actually a slut and not a shy girl)? Seriously, I don't understand this. I'm a virgin and this just made my view on sex and relationships more catastrophic.

Where do I find these natural alpha? (rhetorical question) If you've read Dr. Sonya Rhodes book on The Alpha Women, it says that a higher alpha needs a higher beta but I think I'd love to have a significant other who's commanding, intimidating with a comforting presence.

There's a guy who said he loves me but we live a thousand miles apart so we can't start a relationship. I know he has needs so I told him that he can fuck whoever he wants and it won't hurt me. His reply was "why would you even say that?! I won't be touching any other woman because I want you". This guy is really attractive and he can get any woman that he wants so that's noble of him if he kept his word. In relation to your situation, don't be with a guy who wouldn't put you first. Be with a gu…

Usually males that I met on bars would tell me their hobbies and there's this one guy who said that he likes e-sports. And then I said, interesting. He looked at me and said "don't pretend that you know e-sports" so I kinda felt offended and told him that I have a brother who plays esports all day long. Maybe I have to work on being less offended.

I will take note of this. I agree that we can't control chemistry but a person can make her/himself desirable right. Maybe I can work on that.

this is great advice, I shall let someone get involved in my world as well, it's like an exchange of worlds. (I cant express myself enough but I have an existential eureka about this) Normally, we would wear faces to make ourselves interesting but at the end of the day, you just showed a phase of yourself but there is no engagement of beings involved.

yeah I tried doing that when I had a date, I made a critical analysis of the menu of the restaurant we are eating at and he's laughing about it. What turns me off is he can't contribute to the discussion because he's doesnt know what I was talking about. I'm into existentialists and neo-Marxist thinkers from Frankfurt school.

I think this is the reason why when I talk to men, they try to compete with me because I'm an intellectual and it became a part of me. But if I want to the take the RPW road and become a lady, I need to compromise on this.

Oh I have problems with attacking arguments. I like arguing but sometimes I feel bad if the person thinks I'm personally attacking him, no, it's your argument. But I think one cant differentiate the two.

also, the right man. The cute guy who doesn't look like a fuckboy is my usual prospect.

this is a great idea, but I watch documentaries and if I talk about what I watch (House of Cards, Bones), no one has ever heard of them.

so for instance, if I try to talk to you, I will talk about stuff in economics and the things going on in my country and in your country. I usually start the conversation by asking about their vocation and go from there. It seems that some men are disinterested with this approach.

let me clarify this, what do you mean being a "feminine" when annoyed or mad? Women should shut their mouths or become a nagger and a whiney bitch? In the society I grew up to, mothers are naggers man.

In a prestigious university in my country, most smart and beautiful women are single or some never even had a boyfriend. The guys in the university are either in a relationship or in love with someone who doesn't love them back so ever man is taken in that sense.

that's my problem, I can't start a conversation that's not academic or philosophical. There should be a primer on "how to flirt 101". hahaha

I discuss philosophy with men and I scare them away.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
