This is a good post and I get what you're saying. I think reading TRP, TRPW and even TBP can be a great learning tool for people trying to understand others and themselves. I, as a man, when reading TRP find a lot of things to ring true. So much of my behavior has resulted in responses from women as described by others. Obviously relationships (including friendships) can be complex.. but on the surface I would: 1. Not respond to her. 2. Tell friend and explain her reactions (she doesn't want him looking better because she will feel threatened). 3. If she were to persist in texting you, etc. I would be honest with her. Not out of any anger, just simply explain from an outside perspective how she treats him and how he's trying to make himself a better person. Who should be faulted for that?
