Barely. I literally was taking home 40% of my pay after taxes and support. And my ex was making 98k as a school vice principal with a masters degree. After the divorce she got fired and now works as an English teacher making 60k. She also accused me of being grossly under employed in court, the judge chuckled.

Its not too clear but generally if there is a support order in place, its really difficult to terminate it without two parents. So if parent A and B both decide to remove parent B's rights, if there is a support order in place, it will remain unless parent A has another parent and a judge agrees. If there is no support order in place, it is now very difficult to obtain one as parent B is no longer legally a parent and has no authority for visitation or parenting at all. Can confirm. My ex wanted a 1300 a week paycheck from me. I said I would give her 500 a week. She declined and took me to court. Judge scolded her for lying about expenses and ended up at 300 a week and she owes me back 8k in arrears. So 250 a week for the next 3 years roughly.

Still going. She lied in court about child care and expenses. But it all comes out in the end...in just 3 years she owes me over 8k in arrears, havent seen a penny, but still was a good day in court when she got called out by the judge for lying. I wish prosecuting for lying on verified case information statements was a real thing.

They sure are. My ex attempted suicide while our kids were at her home. State ended up taking the kids away from me because ex said it was because I was abusive...funny thing is, I left a year earlier and lived in a different state and had a restraining order against her. I spent 2 years in court and drug testing and therapy classes to get out of it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
