BINGO. Being a Pickmeisha is just as detrimental as being with a NVM. She saw these low value signs for a whole year and stayed. HE was making his intentions clear as day. Ladies; this is why WE level up

“I don’t think we should make “all men” arguments.” This isn’t an all men argument. This is an all women need to protect their best interests argument. Read the handbook. “… but to say “never” unless engaged is impractical and unrealistic. Men have their own vetting process too and most of them, especially the high-value ones, will not ask a woman’s hand in marriage unless they have taken the time to truly know them aka, live with them.” Not living with a boyfriend is one of the MOST practical t…

Most definitely: Nick Cannon and men like him are depraved. Point blank period. But your last quote is exactly what I’m emphasizing here “at some point we need to start taking note of the behavior and refusing the projections and the blame.” Any women out there dating need to be taking note of how men like this behave and how society responds. Women then need to respond accordingly because to be picked by a man with half a dozen baby mother’s who openly admits he’s not interested in being with a…

This man publicly said in an interview: “I believe that relationships and marriage are designed to please women. Once I stepped away from my marriage with Mariah, I knew I would never get married again.” "I knew I’d never be in a relationship again and that I’d never want to be married again. I respect a polyamorous situation," "But for me, that’s too many rules. I don’t want to answer to anybody. I want to be by myself forever. I got ‘lonesome’ tattooed on my neck. I’m good.” "I got kids by dif…

That’s all well and good but FDS doesn’t recommend moving in with a boyfriend periodt. Even with a financial contract you’ll likely end up doing more physical and emotional labor or becoming a forever girlfriend. Read the handbook

YES to all of that! But investing in yourself and living your life well is not coming on Reddit just to shitpost. There has been little strategy at all of late be it dating strategy, life strategy, level up strategy, or what have you.

Your understanding of what this sub is, is exactly what it WAS pre covid. Sure there would be male depravity posts, roasts, LVM logic, etc but the emphasis was always on relationships and dating. These types of things would be posted to emphasize or reinforce our DATING STRATEGY not just for the sake of trolling the multitude of LVM, not to promote female supremacy, and not to encourage women to avoid all men at all costs.

This is the post I’d been waiting for!!!! Been on this sub for years and noticed a lot of anti-dating content over the pandemic period. If a woman wants to swear off dating, that’s totally her prerogative but at its core, this sub is about helping women navigate dating. Love the reminder 👏👏👏

You didn’t screw up girl, you did everything right. You multi dated. You made your desires clear and firm. You vetted to the best of your ability. Some women vet guys for years and they still turn out to be jerks. You found out quickly and relatively painlessly. This is a SUCCESS story!

OBSERVING TABLE MANNERS IS ESSENTIAL I dated this guy for a bit who claimed he’s OBSESSED with “authentic” sushi, is a “sushi snob,” and was going to open up my eyes to THE BEST sushi place in town. We meet up at the pier. He brings stuff for a romantic picnic and we walk over to the restaurant to get the sushi to go. I’m expecting something grandiose and he ends up ordering some of the most generic rolls. But that’s not all.... We get back to our picnic spot lay out the food and begin to eat. H…

Yup. The oppression runs deep. Add to that being a non-white woman and not fitting the conventional western beauty standards (fair skin, straight hair, light eyes, fine and light-colored body hair), and I’ve got a lifetime full of internalized inadequacies I struggle with every day.

This is facts. I’m mid 30’s. One of the men I’m dating currently is a few years younger than me but no one would guess it. He’s still handsome but his hair is already salt and pepper gray and you can see that years of golf and hikes without sunscreen are starting to show their effects on his skin. He could also afford to moisturize. I swear these guys just splash their face with water and call it a day lol

Yes I I’ve done the research on latisse and definitely read up on potential adverse side effects. Discussed with my derm the risk factors and I decided that since I have a lot of orbital fat already (baby face with chipmunk cheeks) I’m willing to risk some loss in that area. But yes. There’s a product line on Amazon (at least in the states) called Glytone that has a whole line of products for correcting skin texture issues. Shaving has always irritated my legs so I use the Glytone Exfoliating Body Lotion nightly on areas where I’m prone to get razor bumps and the strawberry effect and I definitely notice it helps reduce the bumps, get a smoother shave, the exfoliation helps with the strawberry appearance. Wait a minute, we’re going on dates with people we already think are poor contenders? We’re agreeing to meet guys at the last minute and are saying yes to grabbing coffee? Honey, no need to worry about dressing down to avoid making excessive effort, the solution is even easier: stay TF home. I prefer to look my best and be appropriately dressed for the venue whenever I go out anywhere in public with anyone- just like I expect a HVM to do the same.

Men research things they’re interested in learning more about all the time: Finding out the specs of the new ps5 or iPhone they want, figuring out which grad program they should apply to, or what speaker system to get for their foreign car. A HVM will want to learn how to get a woman off because pleasing her turns him on. He’ll ask you or he’ll Google it. Rule #1: don’t fake enjoyment during sex. If you’re not feeling good, tell him. You can explicitly tell him what you’d like him to do and if h…

My ex fiancé was a highly functioning alcoholic and habitual marijuana user (multiple times daily). He hid these qualities from me until after we’d moved in together. I was 21 , he was 15 years older, and my first everything so I stayed even though substance abuse is a deal breaker for me and he deliberately withheld from telling me earlier because he didn’t want me to leave him. It’s totally your prerogative. It’s not bad for men or women to choose to date like that. The problems are: The deceptive vibes: The way he went from “I’m not looking to get into a relationship” to “I’m down to build something special with you...” when he perceived that his original answer was not going to get him anywhere. Then 2: The way he’s asking a woman who has -looking for a relationship- on her profile to “have some fun” with him and see where it goes. Just say “hey I want to waste your …

I also think a lot of ZVM know deep down that they don’t have their resources, intelligence, maturity, or personality game strong enough to offer much to a high value woman other than dick. They choose be casual because they know that all they can provide is casual. Girl, SAME. I honestly still have the drive to be the nice girl. It’s more than likely part of my wiring now since I did it for so long, but there were two books that gave me some helpful quotes to incorporate into my self talk while dating. They’re not totally FDS but, again, I got some useful nuggets which made them worth the read : Mars and Venus on a Date - - “Being open and responsive to a man’s offer to provide is in itself giving back to a man. Yep! I totally used to think “let me make it easier on him” until I realized I was shooting my self in the foot with every single relationship. Why on earth was I cheapening myself and making it EASIER TO ACCESS ME? And the moment the LVM realized I was easy pickings was the very same moment when they started taking me for granted. Nah, this is some “redwoke” reductionist attempt to throw a pity party for Carano. She was not fired for being strong and fierce instead of submissive. She was fired because Disney let her know many times that her social media posting habits do not represent their goals for their brand and if she wanted to remain connected to their brand she would need to adjust. She chose to continue her usual posting habits.

I’ve said this for a while now. I know some women love them, but good morning and good night texts in the early stages of talking are not high effort imo. Guys heard from the internet that “women go crazy for it” and now it has become the generic breadcrumb tactic of low effort men to keep as many options open as possible. It’s quick, easy, and gets them “nice guy” points. Often they’re just “good morning” copy pasting down their list of options. In an established relationship they can be sweet …

I tell him this openly and honestly from the beginning. Now, some men say that they’re looking for a relationship when they’re really just looking to hook up. Yeah, I definitely wouldn’t do this today but I think what happened over the lurking period is that I began to feel an empathetic connection with the woman and I became more invested in HER than i was in my ex. It was almost like when you’re watching a scary movie and yelling at the screen telling the young sorority girl not to go into the basement but she keeps going and you want her to be the one who survives in the end. YES!! I want to give the woman a hug because I empathize with her so much. A Dozen times over the course of my social media lurking I wanted to reach out and contact her. I wanted to warn her that he’s trash, don’t marry him, and tell her that he was still calling and texting me. But women often don’t take that well, so I didn’t. I really wish I did :(

OMG part of how I knew they were so off and on is how for a year and a half he’d periodically call or text me some “hey Stranger.” “I miss you” “what happened to us?” bullshit out of the blue. Exactly. Lying males of OLD have driven this woman to become the very thing she doesn’t want. What she needs to learn is how to vet properly. Sigh. It’s crazy to think about how much women of the world need FDS

And they say FDS is a “hate group” and put it in the same category as RedPill and MGTOW. Um no, we love HVM and seek to be high value women. We don’t come on this sub bragging about our zero value fiancée who isn’t a catch but he takes us to expensive dinners and we tolerate his company so why not marry him. That’s the opposite of FDS goals. WE ARE NOT THE SAME.

Trust, I don’t date them. I get what you’re trying to say and in a perfect world, people wouldn’t need to express distaste with someone’s appearance. We’d all just look the other way and keep it moving. But turn on the TV. Women are held to an entirely different physical standard than men. This is PATRIARCHY at its core. Men are accepted and almost expected to just not care about presenting themselves well. And they’re trained to believe that a man can be an entire slob and still bag a “10”. Unt…

But when the guys profile says “no catfish filters please”, “I don’t respond unless you have full body pics” or “first date we’re going swimming so I can see you without makeup” all while he’s got a receding hairline, paunchy jowls, and sun spots at the age of 32.... Yup. Even the religious ones can be trash, so I hear. And location/ culture I think plays a role too. 5 years ago, my brother met his wife on Plenty of Fish in LA so I tried it out thinking it was an app for serious dating. Welp...Not where I’m at apparently. It’s the bottom of the barrel 😂

I agree that erring on the side of cynicism is the best way to approach situations with men but I think this also might be a case of “doing” FDS vs. “being” FDS. She’s maybe a newbie or recovering Pickmeisha who still doesn’t have the principles ingrained yet so she is worried about messing up in unfamiliar territory where she has less control of the dates, interactions, etc. OP, I think you’re right to be careful about giving the wife experience at the girlfriend rate. Agreed. Honestly, my first thoughts when I found out were concern for her. “I hope she’s following The Rules and wont take any weak shit like I did,” I said to myself. I don’t necessarily think every LVM will always act low value. Just like women, I think a truly humble man can be made to see his mistakes and work to level up emotionally and become higher value. This is key. A man who is genuinely interested in you wants you to know it. He won’t be ambiguous. He won’t be hot and cold. He will declare his interest from the rooftops because he wants to be the one to secure you. His ego does not want you to pick another man

Eww. I hate they guys who push for you to add them on socials. I never give them my social media unless I feel like it could go somewhere and I usually don’t even like to entertain that feeling for at least 2+ months. It’s kind of creepy having random dudes you matched with on an app suddenly having access to your whole life indefinitely. I just ghosted a guy like this. Wanted to do a series of “meet and greets” (jogging together) before going on an actual date because he “doesn’t want to invest in a date only for the woman to say she’s not interested afterwards because then it’s like that investment was for nothing.” Boy bye. I agree with everything except the “thin” part. In an attempt to push back the body shamers, full figured women embraced the “real women have curves” adage and while it is coming from a place of good intentions, many women are naturally thin and don’t deserve to be made to feel like they aren’t a grown woman or their partner likes them because he is a pedophile

Cinderella was born wealthy but was downgraded to a kept maid/servant after her father died. She was still provided for. So, when Cinderella gets the prince, everyone is happy because she is returned to her proper station and doesn’t have to work anymore. That’s not really the same vibe as a poor woman, from a p…

I don’t accept last minute offers for low effort dates and it’s pretty standard FDS. If he knew he would be free all day Saturday why is he only now trying to see me? If he REALLY cared he would’ve secured my time before hand. And accepting such a low effort “date” is not setting your self up as a woman of high value. When men want to impress you they start off with the bar high. Placing the bar so low early on is a bad sign

I think the idea of understanding your partner’s love language is legit. Yeah I thinks it’s less to to with pedophilia and more so the fact that it’s the current western porn trend. Sadly, most boys and I’d wager girls too first explore other bodies through porn. People who uses porn heavily get attached to that aesthetic (this includes male circumcision). Au naturale was the thing in the porn of the 60’s/70’s, then the Dorito triangle, then the air strip, now bare. As with all trends it will likely cycle back in a few decades

Yeah, I still think we’re mostly talking about two different things. I’m not talking about any male justification or a magical moment; merely about how men THINK about sex before it and after. Just because someone thinks a certain way doesn’t make it true thought it does become their reality and women in the dating world need to know what men THINK. Knowing and understanding how men tend to think about early sex is in no way justifying LVM behavior, it’s arming women against it. And knowing and …

True true. But I think we’re talking about two different things then. Or maybe the same phrase used differently. what I’m talking about when I write “post nut clarity” isn’t about being distracted or needing to have sex often. That’s why I wrote “what did you read.” Science says that men have a drop in testosterone after sex which causes them to think less about that chase they were so interested in before. Huh? I don’t know what you read. It’s not an excuse that justifies shitty behavior. I’m talking about hormones here not feelings. Don’t sleep with a guy early is basic FDS

I think a lot of people in the comments are not adjusting for age. Sure, a 22 year old might want to date someone for 5 years before getting engaged but a 30 something thinks and moves differently. By that age you are more likely to know yourself. I also think it’s funny how people arbitrarily set “X number of years is the time when you really know someone.” Lol. Yes that’s how it’s supposed to be, and yet I only know because I lived through it honey. Families are often accepting of intermarrying Asians, whites, Arabs, etc but there’s tons of anti black sentiment. But that’s great that the communities you move through are open minded in that regard.

The book “Fuck Him” has some good advice for this situation. In brief, a high value woman doesn’t nag because nagging is ineffective and bounces off guys like it’s nothing. So the HVW reinforces all good behavior and ignores all bad behavior, in this case; low effort. This does NOT mean you ignore it by pretending you’re ok with it. Instead, she ignores his bad behavior by: - A. Giving him less attention - B. Seeing him less - C. Not going out of her way to cater his needs - D. Spending more tim…

A broke man will never be truly happy with you because the very fact that you need to support him financially emasculates him. He will be frustrated with the relationship and won’t know why. Then you’ll break up and he’ll find a woman he can support. A man NEEDS to provide. It’s biological. This is why a woman cannot give, give, give. My last BF was on the struggle bus. But he was hot and nice so I said let’s see what happens. The first time he asked me for gas money I should’ve said no but I fi…

QUEEN SHIT!!! I bet that response shook his entire world! I can picture the gears and circuits in his brain exploding as he struggled to compute what just happened. “I gave her a really nice compliment but she ...refused.... me...She refused me? ME?!?!.... “

Exactly. I’ll admit it: I’m a hopeless romantic and would absolutely love it if tomorrow I could just give my heart openly fully to the guy I’m most into right now, invest myself in him 100%, move in with him so I can see him every day, blah blah blah... But this isn’t Disney and a lot of men are trash. So I keep my guard up and make him reveal his worth. You can’t trust any old guy to look after your heart so we have to be the ones to look out for OURSELVES

It’s the cool new urban way to say “to chill” and is quickly becoming the euphemism for “ let’s hookup first and then after that I’ll decide if I’ll date you.. I most likely won’t though ”

His phone didn’t die sis. A”mental day” isn’t even a real excuse or reason. He simply got caught up doing something else that was more important to him or made other plans that were more fun and he didn’t want to lose face. #next

I don’t find the two books to be similar at all. HJNTIY isn’t really about strategy while The Rules is literally “rules.”

From the article: “It said a "deep friendship" remained between him and Ms Pascale - but their 12-year relationship was over. Ms Pascale, 34, who once said in an interview that she asked Mr Berlusconi to marry her every day, told La Repubblicca she was "astonished" by the announcement. "I will hold him dear forever. I wish him all the happiness in the world and hope he finds someone who will take care of him as I have," she said.” That’s a whole lot of pick me shit. No wonder he left. Forever gi…

Please. He’s a grown man not a toddler. If he separated from his family that was his own choice. Way to blame the woman. Typical “jezebel” stereotype. Maybe they’re a bunch of toxic assholes who need to be separated from.

This is one of the things I hate most about OLD: the forever pen pal dude. He is the definition of low value. Any man worth having knows that the ball os in his court to set up a date. Any man worth having will want to meet you face to face sooner rather than later. If he’s not making a date he doesn’t want to. Start taking 12-24 hours to reply. Divest I’m him and talk to other guys. He’ll either pursue and ask for a date or slow fade. Either way you win

I dated my ex fiancé for 7 years and he proved to be an asshole. I’ve come to learn that years knowing someone means absolutely nothing. Some couples are blissfully married after knowing each other 7 months. There is no way to predict the end game. The best you can do is vet early and never stop vetting. Vet him every. damn. day. Whether you’re dating a week or married 25 years he needs to know you’d walk in a heartbeat the minute he demonstrates low value.

Some of my favorite dating “help” books are by men. There are male authors giving out insider information and ADMITTING that men are never truly fulfilled in a relationship unless they worked hard in pursuit of it and are allowed to provide.

Not in so many words. Say something like “Hey, I’m a single girl and I’m enjoying all the freedom that comes with it... Until someone amazing makes an exclusive commitment worth my while” No need to go further than that. He’ll know exactly what you mean and he’s likely doing the same thing. If he gets angry; NEXT- you’re not married. Now, if he wants to take you off the market he’ll likely get quiet and make a mental note that there may be other contenders in the ring

That’s great that it helps you! For me, personally I only block people when I feel like maintaining a connection with them is toxic or I’m worried I’ll reach out to them in a moment of weakness. Otherwise I can’t even be bothered with the process of going through my phone settings to block. Eventually they’ll realize I’m not responding or just trolling them and in the meantime I have fun enjoying the shit show

Blocking would indicate I’m bothered lol. I literally don’t care what I text him and what he texts me because it’s a non-starter. He’s pure comedy for me. I like a good laugh during the day and blocking is way less fun

I love that book! It’s is actually why I even gave this guy a chance. I’ve always been attracted to the nice looking guys but many turn out to be fuckboys. I realize that, but the problem is I’m a bit traumatized. Six years ago, I realized I did not find ex fiancé sexually attractive. He could tell and the feelings of dissatisfaction led to me calling it off and ending an 8 year relationship. I have zero regrets and learned that never want to be in that kind of relationship again :(

Yeah I’m the opposite. I feel physical attraction from the start or not at all :/ Only have I had someone grow on me and it was my best guy friend I had known for 6 years. I’d hate to wait that long to feel it for someone I was dating...

Noted. And totally a possibility. I can not control what any guy ever does; only what I do. Even if i know him fir 25 years at that. My 110% comment was in reference to the idea that I could “accidentally have sex” with him.

Fair assessment based on what I posted. For brevity sake and because I was specifically worried about the sleepovers I did not include that he has took me on three very nice dinner dates our first few meetings. First one we met and after that he picked me up each time, paid everything, drove everywhere, etc. Im not making excuses for his additional low value actions. Just pointing it out. I love that script! Thanks for that. We’ll see. I have several other guys in dating rotation but this one wa…

Any thoughts on how to proceed going forward? Is it even worth it after 1 week of high effort plus 2 weeks of low effort or should I just throw the whole man away and start fresh?

Thanks for your reply and confirming my gut reaction. I agree that it’s seeming like a lot and this fast track to familiarity can easily head towards boredom which is why my alarms were ringing in the first place. I’m definitely pulling back on the amount I see him moving forward. As far as sex though, I 110% know that it won’t happen until my timeline/objectives are met lol. I’m firm in that area and have been my whole life.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
