I agree imo bars/clubs do a level of vouching -- making sure people are age 21+ (or they are supposed to in USA but yah know), there are also age 30+ bars/clubs. Doormen can block out people who do not match the vibe, whether that be $$/looks/gender etc. So places like that do not seem cold to me, I expect to be approached and it doesn't ever bother me unless they are gross (hygiene wise like bad breath or BO), being disrespectful or too forward.

I guess I am un-included from the "everyone" then. Frankly, you have no argument - just photos of people you think are too ugly to be loved. Projection much? This is why I know your issue is a personality defect. You tie good looks far far too closely to worth and that is what makes you terrible. AS IF - humanity doesn't age and get wrinkled AS IF - anyone couldn't get in a disfiguring accident at any time or get diagnosed with something. Looks matter, but they are not the only thing nor even th…

This is a good point about the different societal expectations for men/woman in relationships though it ignores that woman have and do seek relationships. Anyways - I always thought of it more as the polite way of telling someone they have bigger fish to fry and to stop talking about romance. If your only topic of conversation is relationships you don't have then you are boring. You are boringgg and probably annoying and should focus on something else. The self is the best in this case because i…

So you ask me a personal question to try to prove a point, receive no answer, assume the answer anyway based on what fits the worldview you insist on having... 100% not a personality issue in your case! You clearly should have 7 wives by now jeeze the world is so tilted

Why should I have to? There are plenty of examples all over the place that you are willfully ignoring. You are making a choice to be miserable and I wont take that away from you

Well yes they sure did - If you recall, there was a lot of social upheaval... a lot of smashing the status quo around the time of the Vietnam War? When all the kiddos growing up during the great depression and WW2 are old enough to make moves. None of this is new

Of course, but it is clear you do not understand that attraction is not just about personal appearance. It is not just about pretty, handsome, ugly blah blah blah Someone may look like a 2 but their personality, hobbies, interests etc. can bring that number way up. I think people strongly underestimate how much physical intimacy and attraction comes down to knowing someone really well. *edit spelling

If two people like each other and want to be together, that should be enough is your answer

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
