It’s common in big cities. Happened to me a bunch in DC but not since I’ve moved to a much smaller rural area

Sex with someone I like is substantially better than sex with strangers. Sex with someone I love… even better.

To answer you question, it’s physically uncomfortable for me to give a blow job. I tolerate it because I like to turn on my partner but the act itself is not necessarily enjoyable for me. Piv sex feels much more intimate because I am getting pleasure from it and often times I’m actually looking at my partners face so that connection makes it feel more intimate too

Same, last guy I hooked up with I asked if I could blow him while we were making out. I’m 25. Must be generational

They do have something to lose. Not having sex. These types of comments or opinions never acknowledge that women like to have sex too. Why would I punish myself by waiting

I love that this post is not only fat phobic but also shaming old people like they don’t matter. So sad. I hope OP find true joy

Imagine caring so much about someone else’s body that you post about it on Reddit lol. Embarrassing.

I had a very promiscuous phase for a few years and maybe would have another one, I just haven’t slept with anyone for about a year. It doesn’t really make me feel any type of way. It has made me place less emphasis on sex when looking for a compatible partner vs the past when I found sex to be so important that I used it as a bandaid to hold a relationship together when emotionally/personality wise we were not compatible. I don’t really care about the label either. It doesn’t define me

I find this claim inaccurate, at least compared to my closest 10 girlfriends and myself (I know it’s a small sample size), who have boyfriends who are mostly not considered tall or buff or all of these things you’re listing, and all my girlfriends are conventionally attractive. I just went on a date with a guy who was maybe 1 inch taller than me? (I’m 5 foot 6) and it was a wonderful date. I think these ideas that the majority of women are so picky are just untrue and if you believe it, will onl…

Where do you get these ideas? Why do you think women don’t have varied types?

We were friends first (he worked at the bar I frequented) and then we started hooking up during COVID. Lasted for about 6 months before we stopped and now we’re just friends again. It was very casual. I don’t know if I could ever seriously date someone that older than me just because of the differences in life experience at that point, but it’s not off the table if it was the right person!

Obviously given the context of my comment I was referring to age gaps when there is a minor and an adult. I’m 25 now and have dated someone 20 years older than me. Age gaps for ADULTS are fine.

To be fair we didn’t really know better. I was never told age gap relationships or crushes were inappropriate

I (F) graduated in 2014. I don’t remember any creepy teachers but us girls definitely oversexualized some of the “hot” male teachers. Looking back I feel awful as I know how damaging that can be to a male teacher’s career. They didn’t reciprocate and I don’t remember saying anything to their face but it definitely was lunch table talk. Like “omg did you see MR. X he looked so hot today”.

Soda water and lime. Could be a vodka soda, gin and tonic, people have no idea and it’s zero cal to fit your diet

In my friend group it’s definitely one of the higher numbers, and definitely not because my friends couldn’t have that high of number, but especially in college they weren’t interested in hook up culture which I totally understand. Especially now that I’m in a place where I don’t want to do that, they were already in that place in college. Some have also been in long term relationships much longer too. Some have lower sex drives. I don’t really think that sex is that big of a deal or really even…

I was promiscuous in high school but never actually had intercourse due to purity culture and the idea that I wanted to wait for someone special to have sex for the first time… instead I just gave a lot of blow jobs and hand jobs HAHA. Had sexual intercourse for the first time at 18. In college I had about 25 partners (2 longish term relationships in there), grad school only one 1 partner (2 year relationship) and have had 15 partners in the past two and a half years since moving to a new city. …

I’d never be in that situation because I don’t give a fuck if they slept with the whole country because it doesn’t affect me. My original comment was being cheeky. I’d actually just never be with someone who cared about that number. However, if they lied about it and I never found out, I wouldn’t really care. I also figure they had a good enough reason to lie about something as menial and non important as the # of people you’ve slept with

I love this sub for reminding me to never tell any man the true number of people I’ve slept with because they’re (some) so obsessed with that number. Thank you!

Okay well I’m saying there is scientific evidence that it’s not a cop out and that female responses to sexual desire is different than male

It’s based on research studies which I believe to be true.

And i never said you thought it was false. You said “I don’t get how so many women are reactive” so I suggested a book to help you get it more.

Read the book “come are you are” to learn more about female sexuality/sex drives. It’s evidence based.

I (F 25) don’t think it would be creepy at all, but maybe refrain making comments about her looks right away, even if that’s what you noticed. You could make a comment about like “I noticed we were both alone” or make a comment about what she’s eating or reading or wearing (not sexual), see how she responds, and then say something like “maybe next time we can eat together” and give her your number on a piece of paper. I prefer this because I don’t feel pressure to respond in that moment. Rejecti…

I have to share this quote: “Life will break you. Nobody can protect you from that, and being alone won't either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning. You have to love. You have to feel. It is the reason you are here on earth. You have to risk your heart. You are here to be swallowed up. And when it happens that you are broken, or betrayed, or left, or hurt, or death brushes too near, let yourself sit by an apple tree and listen to the apples falling all around you in heaps, wasti…
