I am Army veteran and also have some insight on this issue. Soldiers go Awol all the time. It does effect combat effectiveness but I refuse to hold this woman to a higher standard than any other soldier. This woman going Awol has nothing to do with the larger issue of allowing women in to combat roles.

So let's look at the story. First there is a story. It's being reported without a bias in the woman's favor. The story is not about men's rights. It's not about men's rights being infringed upon.

It might have be different for five years ago (when I started) but it still isn't about constantly tweeting at people you disagree with. Especially when it creates a pile on effect. I had that happen to me a couple of weeks ago and it really isn't pleasant when people you don't follow and don't follow you start tweeting at you.

Janet Bloomfield is a troll who spends her days tweeting at people hoping to piss them off. It's not the words she is using rather her behavior. I want to say you are right but I am not sure. We don't have all the information but I think it is safe to say that some type of domestic dispute was happening. I believe in some states (Florida being one of them) that the police have act in a certain manner and an arrest has to be made.

Sorry but as a father of four and a happily married man for five years I really can't be for this. What should be done is more education from everyone. Understand the laws as they are (yes let's do what we can to change them as well). Practice birth control. Always. Please please please wait until you are at least 26 before you get married. So at the very least, we can conclude that Daisy was taken advantage of. No we can't. We do not have the evidence the D.A. has. How likely is it that Daisy was having drunk YET consensual sex while her friend in the same room was being forcibly raped. I honestly do not know. I was not there.
