Yep, I have lived in two separate basements and in a mouse infested house with two roommates for one year. Wasn't fun but it was cheap. I found a local jeweler in my area that had a lot of great ratings on Google. I just looked up "family jeweler CITY" and clicked through the options. I browsed their selections online, found a ring I loved (it's a lotus garnet), and made an appointment to view it in person. It's been great working with them so far and I'm so excited to go see/buy my ring :) It's a gorgeous ring.

God, the damn Christmas tree. Every time my ex and I drove by the hardware store with trees out front, I would comment about how we should get one, etc but he NEVER showed interest. $30 on a tree + $20 for a stand was too much for him, I guess. If you want a Christmas tree, apparently you have to drag it home from the store yourself.

God, that is the issue with this "boundary" bullshit. When it becomes an "option" to let your husband go to strip clubs, then there's a group of "cool girls" who "allow" it and the "prudes" (AKA HVW) who don't. The cool girls can go on all day about how it's "a personal choice" but that's always laced with condesension. Eventually, the condesension becomes ubiquitous and erases the boundary. Such bull. In addition, even if sex workers weren't in any danger (ridiculous to think due to LVM nature), sex shouldn't be bought and sold anyway, as there will ALWAYS be more LVMs interested in buying sex from women than there will be women interested in buying sex from men, and thus the industry as a whole perpetuates the idea of women as LVMs sexual servants, even for us HVW who want nothing to do with that.
