Yale admitted having drunk 10 cans of lager he told Yale that a girl under the influence of alcohol could not consent to have sex Oh, but he can consent to sex while drunk?
I am a male and if I had been 14-15 years and had had the opportunity to have sex with a woman I would have loved it. Not everybody is like you. How ignorant do you have to be to think "I would've liked it, therefore the whole world should like it!"
I got circumcised as an adult for medical reasons about a week ago. How long did it take your penis to heal up and for you to be able to have sex comfortably? Asking because mine isn't exactly pretty right now (stitches and stuff).
I'm not sure if that justifies killing somebody. I'd rather separate them from the rest of society, give them help, and try to understand why they felt like murder was appropriate in the first place. Imo, if you can find out why behaviour like this occurs you can better prevent it in future. Simply putting them to death makes this impossible; nothing is learned.
ableism transgender transphobia migogynist pansexual etc all come up with squiggly red lines for me. Does it mean these things don't exist? Of course not. unicorn leprechaun wizard etc all don't. Does it mean that these things are real?
I wouldn't trust a person like that to evaluate my kids Just to clarify, are you saying you wouldn't trust someone who does BDSM? BDSM and such tendencies spring from puberty and early teenage years, so most likely she is a hypocrite. I'm sorry, but how would this make her a hypocrite?
You even sometimes get people in SRS, who are supposedly feminist and dislike gender stereotypes, bashing on bronies watching a show aimed at girls and calling them creepy...
On a side note: this psychologist's account in one of social networks has photos of her in BDSM outfits. Clearly a suitable person to be working with kids I really hope I'm missing the sarcasm here. Wtf?
Even if only men were in power and deciding on laws, those laws could still systematically oppress other men beneath them... Idk how someone can honestly think misandry doesn't exist on any level at all.
I think "feminism" is such a broad term at the moment it's inaccurate to say that "feminism supports X". I'm pretty sure some feminists support actual equality instead of women supremacy.
Depends on which country. I don't think the UK is a patriarchy (where I'm from). I do support equal rights for men and women, which I think makes me a feminist by some definitions.
It's still based upon personal appearance. You also have no idea what someone else has been through or why they're gaining weight... Shaming someone just for being fat is kind of a shitty thing to do tbh.
No young woman would consent to having sex with five guys in a bathroom unless she was seriously troubled. I'm sorry? Just because YOU wouldn't consent to that doesn't mean someone else wouldn't. A woman should be free to make her own decisions when it comes to sex. Anyone else see a bit of slut-shaming here? Any guy with even a trace of gentleman would have told everyone to leave this 18-year-old Hofstra freshman alone, then walked her to her room and left her in the care of a female friend or …
Thank you for explaining. I'm not sure if I can agree or disagree with you here; I don't know much about the system in the US. All I can say is that, in my experience, people generally like the way it is over here.
Yishan is a feminist. Someone said this was bad. I asked what was wrong with being a feminist. Ma99ie said that. I asked how Yishan, a feminist, was doing those things. If you really want me to address the statement, prove it. I want sources.
I could easily say that MRAs are all women haters. Feminism, like MRAs and pretty much all other groups of people, have extreme members within them. It doesn't make the whole group bad though.
I agree that a definition of rape should remain gender neutral. With the drunkenness, I'm not quite sure how to decide what should and shouldn't be considered rape.
Even the simple "Rape is non-consensual sex" statement has its problems though. For example, do you consider drunk people unable to consent? What if someone tells lies and misleads you into having sex when you otherwise wouldn't have?
How is he supporting censorship? He states that he believes that the way forward is by educating other people, not just removing any comments that disagree... Did you even read the comment?
No, you should charge them more for insurance... The same if women statistically caused more accidents, etc. For whatever, charge them based on how likely they are to have an accident using any information available...
So, let me get this straight... Even if statistics showed, for the sake of this argument, that men are 10x more likely to crash and claim, you still want them to pay the same as women?
Not really. "man up" is like saying you can't have problems, shouldn't complain, etc etc etc. because you're supposed to be a stereotypical man. "You're dumb for responding to societal pressure" isn't based on the person's gender at all and can be said to a women, man or what have you.
Hmm. The story she linked to near the end: http://thestir.cafemom.com/in_the_news/141238/man_charged_with_groping_sleeping That's an 18 year old who was groped. This policy wouldn't have changed that. It wouldn't have been prevented at all because he isn't a child on a flight :S
A huge factor in this is that she was 11 at the time. If she was a fully grown adult, I would agree with locking her up. But this I'm unsure of... I'm unsure what punishment would be suitable, if any. I definitely don't think it should be 9 years, like others.
That's nonsense. She was 11 and did not commit a violent crime. Children should not be locked up unless they are a danger to those around them. They should be educated on why they've done wrong instead of punished. What could locking a 12 year old up possibly accomplish -_-
