American wages have been stagnant since the 70s while wealth inequality soars to unprecedented levels. That American minimum wage is more than 85% of the world is a testament to how much the world sucks, not how great America is. There's no point scapegoating other countries for a worldwide crisis, especially when corporations are in fact responsible for most of the pollution currently.

grandparents keep a happy marriage The F you Talking about? None of their marriages were happy. One was constant loud deaf arguing while wasting away in the living room. The other was abusive and ended in remarriages for both of them. Grandfather's worked, Grandmother's two didn't. Familiarity Breeds Contempt.

I remember the 2-4 girls in gym class who actually put in effort. Always wanted them on my team to minimize weak links, was actually on par with the teams led by huge jocks and two girls doing their nails.

Private roads, libraries, stations exist. They are only useful to the people who own them. Public infrastructure is far more broadly useful to a far greater number of people and thus more valuable to a functioning society. Should each person own their own private highways between their homes and destinations? Do you want to pay a toll every time you turn onto a new street? I consider that lack of inconvenience extremely valuable. I'm talking about the founders post-Yorktown, not the second conti…

No. I can't 'own' part of the road/library/fire station (Imagine bringing that argument to court: *"Your Honor, I own a tiny fraction of this courtroom and your salary"), and really they are more valuable as public utilities for everyone than as owned by thousands of private stakeholders. The founder's government was getting it's wealth from trade and tariffs. That changed in the mid 1800s. *edit added for humor and clarification
/r/MGTOW15/06/18 05:27 AM

Yes, the government's primary role is redistribution of wealth and resources. My taxes went to roads, fire station, public library, but I myself didn't build or maintain them. Government does provide organization on a larger scale that we can't provide for ourselves. I think everybody is a little selfish and wants the government to spend more on them. Their industry, their health, their well-being, solving their problems. The difference is that the extremely wealthy are far better at getting the…

I'm strongly in favor of it. It's the ultimate GYOW. Capitalism is destroying itself. We're nearing the end of the monopoly game, fewer and fewer people are amassing all the wealth. It's past time to start giving people the same economic benefits the government gives to corporations. I see many prideful 'work advocates' here who don't understand how slanted the current wealth distribution is in favor of the 1% (really 0.1%) . They also don't understand how a few innovations can provide for billi…

Do you regard the problem of exploiting men as a cultural thing? It's all over our Music, TV and Movies, so yes. Those corporate pieces of virtue signaling and propaganda are distributed globally, all over the world. So your 'inter-cultural' or 'omg these cultures are soo different because of X' doesn't really exist. Rumors is undeniably Fleetwood Mac's best album. A perfect 10/10, not a single weak track. Unfortunately every album needs a sacrificial lamb to the radio, airplay and marketing gods. Rumors was such a good album it had two sacrifices. 'Go Your Own Way' was the first, 'Don't Stop' the second. 'Go Your Own Way' had a good appearance in Forrest Gump's Cross country running scene. Has had some great covers done of it. Like a lot of Fleetwood Mac songs, it's best part is at the very end and it doesn…

We seem to talk a lot about the Matrix here considering this is Free Zion I wonder why this is the case? Is it that to talk about Zion we have to talk about our relationship with Machines? With automation and nanotechnology, 'work' as we know it will cease to exist. Scarcity and economic capitalism as we know it will end with the nano-3D printer. Robots will get better, competition over paychecks will become deadly before becoming nonexistent. We are all going to need UBI eventually. I think there are many things about UBI and socialism that can be incorporated into a mgtow lifestyle.

Stop. There are way too many flaws with this line of reasoning. First that the majority of elected leaders in government are men. Second, that the government was intended to be the public's protection against concentration of wealth and power. Government over reach and trampling on rights is an issue, and the debate of libertarianism vs socialism will continue, but these issues are not and should not be based on gender. We have to be better than identity politics.

REASONS FOR SUICIDE DO NOT ALWAYS INCLUDE WOMEN. (OP's TLDR: Don't kill yourself over women) ...duh? preaching to the choir? Seriously, there's plenty of good reasons to kill yourself without bringing females into the equation. Nihilism, illness, depression, environment, economics. Going our own way can include antinatalism and euthanasia. That is our call to make. Most of us here are socially libertarian.
