it seems like it, maybe there are exceptional cases here or there but the majority of relationships are about one partner attempts to please and impress the other, while the other refuses or accepts the attempts, meaning that one of them puts more emotions and work than than the other most modern relationships are men trying to impress their wives, there are relationships where girls try to impress their abusive boyfriends
