This is exactly my position too. Abortion shouldn’t be bandied around as a form of birth control. Individuals need to weigh up the risk vs reward if they are going to decide to engage in unprotected sex. The risk of pregnancy should feed into that individual risk assessment. Even then, if regrets were to be had the morning after, there is a morning after pill. Its the same as determine risk of acquiring an STI doing the same thing. 99% of the time, the end result could have been avoided with bet…

Sorry. Government advertising campaign just came out featuring a “creepy” man staring at an uncomfortable woman on the train, raising awareness for sexual assaults on public transport. NSW MP Mark Latham said it wasn’t fair that all men were being portrayed as creeps. This was in response to that.

Latham could have been prime minister. He was leading Howard most of the way through the polls. But his temperament brought his undoing. He was hot headed and came across as a bully. I recall John Howard in an interview when asked about how he beat Latham, he just said he waited for him to implode. And he did.
