I would believe you on that, but cost of dry beans and taste is really what drives me to making them on my own. Salt content in canned is also pretty significant.

No but don't eat meat often. I have found that when I do I get fat fast. Possible ready meat once a month. I almost never eat canned foods. Pressure cooker for beans.
