Another thought. Say you do decide that something within yourself needs to change. Ok, cool. Just make sure to hold to an anchor of core chosen values. Make sure you understand why those values matter. Rock solid buddy. Then, feel free to work to change whatever else you want.
A second thought. Let's imagine that what you said is true and your "Myself" is not attractive to most women. So what? You won't find the few that did like the real you if you fake it, and faking it will hollow you out inside until you no longer recognize yourself. No relationship is worth living a half life as a shadow of your truth.
The advice "Just Be Yourself" is useless when you don't know who you are, so figure that out. A great place to start is to stop pretending. You know that you were pretending, so you know something about who you actually are. Build from there.
That would be faux pas to admit out loud if it were true. Why? Because it would tread upon social niceties. It's better to know whether YOU want washboard abs and all that goes with that.
