| 21 | The 84 Miles That Broke My BullshitYou could have saved everyone a lot of time if you had followed your own advice to Blarg and opened with this: “This is a long way of saying ‘to get results different from what you’ve always got, you’ve gotta do things you’ve never done,’ but the nuance would help me, so maybe it’ll help you.” I wonder if this post could have been written without you referencing several times your elite athleticism and other golden boy victories? Why did it take you until mile 84 to realize your ego was a toxic … | /r/MarriedRedPill | 16/11/25 10:45 PM |
| 1 | Own Your Shit Weekly - November 04, 2025I know I should be doing this for myself, I want to do this for myself, sometimes I truly am, but then I catch myself in the "is she worth it" loop and I know I'm not as far along as I'd like to believe. It's a weakness that I have identified. You are a man who needs to act like a man. You need to start getting yourself under control. When that day comes the rest is going to just fall in place. This hit home for me, thanks for sharing. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 06/11/25 07:51 PM |
| 1 | Own Your Shit Weekly - November 04, 2025I have plenty of "friends", several made in the last few months. Many of these relationships feel superficial, though some are developing into real lasting friendships. I moved to a new city 2 years ago, and my social network was reset at that point. I have a few close friends I've kept throughout the years who are scattered across the globe. Your point about going out in the world "by myself" is very interesting. I work from home mostly. | -1 | Own Your Shit Weekly - October 14, 2025I took 4 weeks off from lifting to focus on training for a half marathon. The run was amazing, I learned a lot about my limits. Now my lifts are trash. This isn’t the first time I’ve regretted stepping away from the gym, I want it to be the last time. If, on the other hand, you work on yourself, own your shit, and be attractive for no other reason than investing in yourself, and that has the side-effect of fostering dread in your wife and leading to more sex, then that is not a covert contract. | 10 | How do you deal with this type of manipulative communication.Whenever your woman says “x” imagine instead that she said “I feel ‘x’ right now”. Women often communicate in feelings (which are temporary) whereas men communicate in logical assertions (which are unchanging). You’re literally speaking a different language. When she says “You never help me with the kids!” (or whatever she’s bitching about), she’s really saying “I feel like you never help me with the kids, right now”. I'm not trying to justify the behaviour, that's why I called it out in my OYS, but I think fear is at the root of the behaviour. I'm scared to prioritize myself. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 13/11/24 05:59 PM |

| 1 | Own Your Shit Weekly - November 12, 2024I'm here to own my shit as I work to become a better man. I am not satisfied with my marriage and I want to improve it by way of improving myself. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 13/11/24 01:47 AM |

| 1 | Own Your Shit Weekly - October 22, 2024Not even close to enough sleep. You need to be getting 7 or 8 hours every night, consistently. For lifting gains and for fat loss. You need to take it seriously or you’re hamstringing yourself. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 23/10/24 06:13 PM |
| 4 | Own Your Shit Weekly - October 22, 2024Every time I think I’m going to fail during squats, I get a burst of energy to finish, no matter how much I want to drop it. Very insightful. This is probably true everywhere in your life. I’ve started intermittent fasting, which has been effecting my glucose levels but not my overall health. This shit takes time and you won't see any difference if you just skipped breakfast for a day or whatever. Make sure you're eating enough protein and sleeping a lot if you're planning to take IF seriously. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 22/10/24 03:54 PM |
| 1 | Own Your Shit Weekly - October 22, 2024Why didn't you tell her about the car accident? Where you scared? Why are you cutting? 156lb seems pretty low. What's your health goal? | /r/MarriedRedPill | 22/10/24 03:51 PM |

I realized that my calorie deficit was probably hindering my lifting and recovery, so I'll be eating at maintenance and continue training for a few months to see if that improves things. | 1 | Own Your Shit Weekly - October 15, 2024Get after it homie. I could summarize your response as: I've been fucking around and now I'm going to get past it. Now it's time to OYS and make good on that. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 15/10/24 09:41 PM |
| 1 | Own Your Shit Weekly - October 15, 2024I'm no expert, but your lifts seem weak after 33 weeks at this. We are about the same height/weight and I'm squatting heavier than you already. What's holding you back? | /r/MarriedRedPill | 15/10/24 04:31 PM |
| 2 | Own Your Shit Weekly - October 15, 2024If you come here and dump all this crap, expect to get roasted. | 2 | Own Your Shit Weekly - October 15, 2024I'm still working on the basics, so take this with a grain of salt, but: You talk a lot about your GF and how she makes you feel (jealous, happy, validated, etc.). It might be best to focus on yourself and stay firmly in your own frame. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 15/10/24 03:55 PM |

| 8 | I'm in an emotional fog. This is just classic oneitis, no? There are so many other women out there, ones without baggage like a child you don't want, or trying to manipulate you by bringing up the past. If you didn't want to get married and have kids, that's that. Misaligned goals in life. I know your feelings are hurt and you feel rejected, but you are objectively a high value man. You said it yourself. You make lots of money, lift, look good, have ambition. Let yourself feel shitty for a bit. Then get out there and se… | /r/askMRP | 11/10/24 12:10 AM |

| 1 | Own Your Shit Weekly - October 08, 2024I understand the concept; it's the basis for "lift" being step one. Help me understand where I'm failing here. Is it because I'm cutting and not bulking? Because I puked out my fee fees instead of STFU? | /r/MarriedRedPill | 09/10/24 06:52 PM |

I fasted 2 days last week (18hrs each), which helped accelerate my fat loss. It's amazing how much food you have to not eat in order to lose fat. Lifts Squat 150lb, OHP 100lb, Deadlift 185lb, Bench press 120lb, BB row 120lb Lifts were stagnant this week, other than OHP. | 1 | Own Your Shit Weekly - September 17, 2024Good questions, thanks. Lifts are weak as I’m new to lifting. I’m following the StrongLifts program since I don’t know wtf I’m doing at all. Still working out why I got fired but my sense is that I was inconsistent and unreliable with my work output, coupled with negative and critical towards my co-founders. They gave me this feedback months ago and I clearly didnt do enough to fix the problem. I’m fat and weak and not assertive, not leading the family, spending way too much time around the hous… | /r/MarriedRedPill | 17/09/24 05:34 PM |
| 1 | Own Your Shit Weekly - September 17, 2024First OYS and first post. Coming up on 40 years old. Fired yesterday from the company I founded. Wife throws me pity sex every week or two. I’m a drunk captain below deck with no idea what’s going on. Even though this feels like rock bottom, there’s still plenty more to lose if I can’t fix my shit. I suck. Squat: 130lb OHP: 100lb Deadlift: 145lb BB row: 110lb Bench: 110lb Estimated bf 20% but that’s just a guess. My plan is to keep lifting.
