If you watch any of the interviews of the group they are fucking weird at best

Men do seek chaste conservative women. You will find one. I say this as a man who was raised catholic but was lost in my early 20s, slept around, had no direction, etc. I was blessed enough to find my faith again in my mid 20s and met a wonderful catholic woman at work who I married and started a family with. I don’t think my trajectory is much different from many men. I’ve met some of those women I dated in the past at parties and such and sin makes women age like milk. Don’t let the pressure o…

I know literally nothing about him outside of him being a popular influencer in the manosphere but anyone who profits from, promotes and facilitates sex work is objectively a bad person

Guys in their early 20s are terrible at picking up signals women drop. Keep trying. There are also Christian dating apps. I’ve never used one as I’m married but I’ve heard about them. Probably come with a small fee but I’d do that before tinder if I had to.

You have a very vulgar and perverse worldview.

I’ll admit I went down the MGTOW timeline because women are inherently annoying, but after getting married and making babies there is nothing more beautiful to me than a woman. To answer your question, men have time. Women don’t. That desire to trade time for women in pursuit of immaterial pleasures is sad. There is nothing more rewarding than raising a child. If you think it’s a waste of resources or time then you are mistaken, and you need a wife to do that so that’s where the red pill (in thi…

Sure. But that’s rare and not what people are talking about when they are talking about restricting abortion.

They pick guys based off looks, compatibility, suitable mating partner, personality, like we all do. But all women, especially attractive women date across and up on their spouses ability to provide resources. If you’re making babies you want to be protected and taken care of.

Was happy to see this response at the top. A marriage isn't a tallying scorecard where your constantly comparing who's done what for the family - as tempting as it can be, when you are frustrated to look at it that way. You also just kind of fall into a grove of who hates doing x chore and who enjoys or doesn't mind doing y chore. I don't think my wife has ever shovelled/snowblow the driveway or done yard work outside of gardening and weeding. I enjoy those and she hates them. Easy compromise. I…

Yeah divorce isn’t suppose to be as normalized as it is. I would like to return to the 50s where if you were divorced there was a social cost (save for infidelity and abuse). And if you have kids (big part of marriage) divorce should be the last resort. Single biggest advantage a kid can have is having 2 parents who stay together in a loving relationship.

Most of the anti porn content I see comes from men encouraging other men to stop. Why?

Well that’s a perverse way to view a marriage. What do you think the point of marriage is?

Women are supposed to meet the man in the middle sexually the same way men are supposed to meet the woman in the middle emotionally. That’s why porn is so destructive to marriages. It removes the work that goes into continuously dating your wife.

Yeah. Those men don’t deserve respect. There’s more to life than banging women with daddy issues and disposing of them like a napkin. I can see the appeal but it just leads to sin and sadness eventually. The women that play into it are just as guilty though.

TRP and MGTOW are such a joke. Women are annoying but I’m sure they feel the same way about men and we need each other to continue the species and run society. Best thing I Ever did was get married and start a family.

Oh, maybe it is - I'm not sure. That chick from iDeepThroat had a family and disappeared. I doubt she goes by 'Heather' even if that is her real name.

If she actually cared, she’d stop using her porn name. She just does this for free publicity.

There’s a good book about this that few people in this sub will care about but I liked it. The five love languages. Even if you don’t believe in marriage it’s a good barometer for how you accept love and give it. It goes beyond your spousal relationships at least for me because I am the same way with my family members. Gifts is one of the love languages.

Dude you are doing it for the baby. Your life is now about the kid. Women are wired to deal with babies. You aren’t. It’s healthier for everyone the way you set it up. She should respect how hard you are about to work to support her and the child, but you sometimes you just have to put your head down and support the things most precious. You’re happiness now comes second to the child.

I think the problem is that most people women want to have kids. And I’m suspicious of the ones that don’t but that’s another discussion. TRP has taught me to be careful when choosing a mate and call them out on their bullshit when they start playing games. If you pick a good woman, their will be less of those. It’s also taught me to take ownership of my own actions and other useful things about being a man. Where I differ with classic RP thoughts is marriage. I waited until 29 to propose and pi…

Agreed and it’s a different kind of great. A while ago I read the Martian in one sitting and while I absolutely loved it it didn’t challenge me like IJ did. Some books should be difficult and I think IJ is one of them. DFW had a mind unlike others

Infinite jest might be my favourite book that is a challenge to read. I know it gets fluffed off as hipster non sense but like Cormac you get more out of it every time you read it. even if you don’t like their writing styles you have appreciate the minds of DFW aNd CM

I still like the idea of donating a portion of income to organizations you care about as folks do with church. Doesn’t have to be much, I do 30$ of each pay. A small percentage but it’s ~750$ a year you set aside for non profits you care about.

The left have lost their god damn mind. I have time for classic liberals but the censorship shit is getting out of control. I’m not a hard core RP. But I enjoy the sub and it’s content even if I don’t agree with it. There are many right and left leaning subs where this happens that I follow. If TRP gets banned I might quit Reddit. This website is so full of soy drinking pussies who aren’t responsible for anything they’ve ever done it’s maddening.

Yeah. It definitely does. My mom was divorced 3 times before I left home. It’s etched this horrible impression of marriage in my psyche and I’m just starting to wrap my head around what it would take to get married and have a family. Because I will not do that to my kids when I have them.

Bingo. I’ve always hated that introvert = bad social skills. I’ve done a personality test through work and was heavily introverted but I do not lack social skills. But our quarterly team building event leaves me more tired than a 14 hour day of work. If you have poor social skills you should work on them, even if you are introverted. You should work on anything that is outside your comfort zone. You should be Reading or listening to things that go against your world views / likes. It makes you a…

I might be in the minority but if you can make it work. Do it for the kid. If you aren’t in then don’t fuck her. If she isn’t in then let her know the intentions Don’t torture the kid with the you’re there and then your not. Even if you are getting joint custody it’s not good for the kid. Tell her what you want and force a decision. Don’t flip flop back and forth.

It’s almost as bad as getting this worked up about a chair rolling a few times a day. Edit: you fucked up from the beginning. If you approached the original situation like a normal human being I’m sure he would have done something to stop it. Imagine getting a call from your roommate saying they’re going to “come after you if you don’t stop rolling your chair” I’d do it out of spite at that point.
