That’s amaZing!! So happy for you. Question: how did you cut out our toxic friends?? I have one that I need to cut out but haven’t really found a good alternative to just ghosting her….

Ugh, I hate this! They always say they're "busy" but really they're just leaving their schedule free in case their new boy toy decides to plan something last minute. And then they get mad at you when you call them out on their behavior and how they are neglecting their friendship. So you start pulling away... And then they breakup and she's crying at your doorstep. The amount of time this happened to me in my teens and early twenties.... I think I didn't have friends for a year because I had to …

Also the third person speak to his anger? I find that scary. I wouldn't be surprised if it escalated to complete disossiaction at some point.

Wow, that's honestly super scary. I feel like a lot of serial rapists have this mentality. They want power and if they don't get what THEY feel is necessary, they take it.

Thank you! I appreciate it and you're so right on their value. Plus, even if I did cry, I'd do it in my new car driving away from their BS hahah

Already getting directs like "ain't no HVM want a fatty that can barely fit in her car" or "spend your money on getting lipo". Doesn't bother me at all. People are assholes. For safety reasons, should I just delete this post? Cause I don't know how to edit the pic without doing that step.

They would be wasting their time cause I already have it lol Sucks you have had to go through that. They need to go deal with their correctile dysfunction somewhere else!

Congratulations on seeing the light! It's very difficult when we are emotionally entangled but you grew and realized how bad he was for you. It's okay to mourn but at the end of the day, we must move on :)

1) no one is claiming he's HV, just like one flaw does not a LV make. 2) you missed the entire point. It's not the phone checking, it's the prioritizing her and her likes over his friends. 3) it's clearly satire on how this WHOLE scenario is rare, hence the disbelief. The bar is high hence the shocked pikachu face cause he's meeting it....but still super skeptical.

You may have intended for this post to be about us women, but the fact that the text you posted says “a relationship isn’t permanent nor is marriage”, it carries the implication to the next sentence. So it implies that this is all about keeping appearances for your relationship aka your SO. Don’t be mad we see it another way, acknowledge it and respect it. Leveling up is also for self-awareness and defensiveness, not just looks.

She’s a weird version of a pick me: she’s the one that gaslights and mentally abuses the men yet she keeps trying to change them to meet her standards. Man, the more I keep talking about the less I want to be her friend haha Thank you ❤️❤️he’s definitely the HVM I’ve been waiting for these past years. We got this!

They sound adorable and like a wonderful addition to your family! I have a red-Tri Aussie (M) named Hank. He’s only a 5 month old puppy but he’s already making me feel safe and loved :) Thats the thing though, she has a dog. But he sleeps in his own bed and she’s a firm believer that the other side of the bed is for a man 🙄. When she first got her pup, I would help dog sit sometimes and when I took him to the dog park, she would ask me how many cute boy’s numbers I got cause he’s “a dude magnet.…

Omg that sounds amazing! What kind of puppers do you have?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/10/20 07:22 PM

Agreed!!! Hank, my pup, is the best. He’s only 5 months but he protects me against strange men/people. Living in NYC, it’s scary being alone at night. He doesn’t growl often, so when he does, I make sure to let him know I appreciate it.

I try so hard to trust my gut and she makes comments like “you’re just scared of commitment” or “you’re not giving it enough of a chance”. One time I didn’t want to go out with this guy I met OLD cause he was giving off weird vibes during the text on app phase. She guilt tripped me into “just give him a chance, you never know, how can you tell just by texting?”. So I go on this date (just drinks 🤦🏻‍♀️) and he proceeds to box me in on my stool with his legs and make the grossest comments ever. I …

Wow, that’s a great read (not that it happened to you, but story time. Thank you for sharing! You’re right. I have felt like I’ve outgrown her a bit. She’s made comments like that in the past or has been “mad” at me for cutting a boy off as soon as I felt uncomfortable. She’s a believer in giving the benefit of the doubt or trying to change him to suit her needs. Man has it been exhausting seeing her go through that.

I agree. Like, how did it come to that, you know?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/10/20 04:42 AM

I’ve come to realize that she may not be the best influence. She is very dating focused and things are always about “how a man would see it.” For example, I have a matching tattoo with my cousin thats a silhouette of two little girls riding a bike. It represents our love for cycling (and riding bikes as kids). I remember when I told my friend about it, she said “don’t you think a guy is going to think you’re into girls cause you have girls on your body”? I definitely just blinked at her and said…

It’s hard since she’s been a huge part of my life, but I am distancing myself from her little by little. I’m horrible at cutting friends out.

Yep. Ever since I joined FDS, I’ve been evaluating my friendships and I have found that I am distancing myself from her. It’s comments like these and her dating past (she dates these LVM and then wonders why she can’t find a “real man”) that just keep pushing me away.

I don’t think it was the same as “you can’t say that haha.” You don’t always have to be aggressive in order to get your point across. The fact that the fab 5 immediately said “no” and then said “you can do better” is what shows that it was critical. The guy who said the “wife” comment laughed because he got caught. People’s reactions to being caught or reprimanded is different. I’d say the Fab 5 got their point across and did a fabulous job of correcting someone without being aggressive. Sometim…

My dad worked in construction and I can say that most of his crew were HVM.The stereotype of them being cat callers wasn’t even remotely true, at least in his world of paving roads. My dad set the bar high and most people think that I’m irrational or delusional for saying if I don’t find a man as good as him I’m not doing it. Whatever, I’ll live happy knowing I didn’t settle for a gangrenous turd.

Maybe not. Some scrotes think that us women are lying when we say that. Regardless of her answer, he should have left her alone.

Maybe I’m doing it wrong, but the way I’ve done it in the past was talking to a guy but also actively searching for others to add to the list. You’re not always going to have 3 guys at once but the point is to not let yourself get too invested in one guy so that way you’re constantly vetting.

You don’t owe them anything. They can figure it out for themselves or find out from him. The only important thing to focus on here is you and your well being.

As someone who slept with a guy she barely knew just to “get it over with” at 27....don’t do it. I’m 30 now and honestly while it wasn’t necessarily a mistake, it just wasn’t good. I barely remember it and it was very awkward. I cringe a little bit when I think back at me texting him “wanna hook up?”. Omg what was I thinking! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Wait until you vet the man properly and there is a strong emotional and physical connection. There really is no rush.

Thanks! I’m sorry you had to go through that as well. Assholes ruining our mealtimes. I’ve definitely learned my lesson to not be as friendly to men I’m giving my credit card or information to. I used to work in retail so I know how it is when every customer is rude or quiet so I like to be nice. But now I definitely think twice when it’s a man, no matter how old cause you never know.

Giiirrrlll. I feel you! I got cyber stalked once at a deli in NYC. I have a habit of being friendly with small talk to people who are of a similar background (I’m Mexican). It’s just how I grew up. So, I chat up the guy behind the deli just being friendly and making small talk about where he’s from. I get home, and I have a face book message from this guy!! It said something like “hola chula” 🤢. I never told him my name so the only possible way he could have found out was by getting it off my cr…

If he's truly a HVM, he'll wait until you're ready. I'm of the belief that you need to get yourself straight and unpack the experiences with a LVM before you jump into a relationship with a HVM.

He did not find this uncomfortable at all. He definitely liked it. I'd consider this a form of cheating. That poor woman..."I'm not like the other wives, I'm a cool wife"
