I plan on doing this if I can’t find a suitable partner by 40.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 07:25 AM

I know that I am not perfect and I am currently working on improving myself but it just sucks seeing friends being extremely successful when it comes to women and I cant get a text back lol.

In summary, a fat, black man tries to get a relationship and/or get laid. Comparing myself to my peers and friends and seeing how easily they get into relationships without trying to think that it is the norm for men. Tried online dating and friends tried to set me up with their friends but they didn't seem to be interested.

A 6 on a good day. I also want a girl that’s a six or below.

How treating women good doesn’t translate to success but other men who treat women badly are more successful
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 05:20 PM

As I die of thirst I watch another man drown

Honestly idk. I have been given good advice in this thread as of now. I’m going to try to lose weight , gain some style and put myself out there. If that doesn’t work then I can just adopt or have a surrogate son.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 09:27 AM

Ok. I will try that. Thank you for the advice honestly.

I will. I really appreciate the advice. Thank you

I realized that too late. My roommates have tried to introduce me to some of their friends but they didn't seem to be interested in me.

They told me to lower my standards to the floor if I wanted a chance at getting laid. As for relationships, they tell me to always be myself. Thats pretty much it.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 08:50 AM

Honestly, I just want to know what it's like to be wanted even if for a moment. I have never had a woman show interest in me.

I can't even attract women my age currently at a female-majority college lol

I do need to work on that. Some people have said that dating gets better in your 30s as a man but I don't want to be a 30-year-old virgin.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 08:30 AM

Humans are social creatures. Wanting to feel wanted isn't a bad thing imo. I don't need a relationship to feel whole but having relationships is a part of the human experience and I feel as though I am not getting that.

Yeah, I go out with my roommates on Fridays and the weekends sometimes at txst. I also have friends in my lectures that I talk to but no female friends despite trying.

The reason I ask is because I feel uncomfortable when it is just me and my college roommates and the topic shifts to women. They have all of these stories about hookups and gfs while no woman has ever expressed interest in me. Makes me feel kinda left out idk
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 08:20 AM

That seems like a good idea. Thank you honestly.

No.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 08:15 AM

That's something I never understood. I was taught by my mother that if you treat women well then you will have good and long-lasting relationships but from what I have seen from roommates and friends ( not all of them) shows the opposite. They treat women like shit but because they look good they get a pass.

Is it normal for a man to never have had any female attention in their entire life?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 08:07 AM

The thing is that I have tried to have a relationship to no avail. Seeing friends and family have success with women while you can't even get one to text you back makes someone feel unwanted and lonely.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 07:51 AM

No female friends lol all of my friends are men. Usually, they tell me that I am terrified of rejection and that I am way too risk-averse. Also being short, black, fat and a virgin doesn't exactly translate to success.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 07:49 AM

I have been trying for about 9 years now. They have tried to introduce me to their friends but the women never seem interested. I try to go out with them but they tell me that I cramp their style lol. I have tried to emulate what they do but it didn't work out for me. They - honest to God - treat their gfs and fwb like shit but are 100 times more successful than me.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 07:35 AM

I just want a love life of some sort.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 07:28 AM

I think it just sucks being 25 and a virgin while my friends go out with their gfs and fwbs while I can't secure a date at a college that is 60 percent women.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 07:26 AM

I do have friends and they are my roommates. Their dating life is 1000 percent better than mine. They seem to have no issue getting women. 2 of them have had multiple gfs ( one is getting married after he graduates this spring). The other brings home a girl every weekend they go out.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 07:24 AM

Might be a bit buzzed when I wrote this sorry. I tried to put myself out there to no avail following this subs advice and it got me nowhere so I want to know my options

My point is that men have it harder when it comes to dating. This doesn’t mean that women don’t have their challenges either. I sympathize with anyone trying to date in this current landscape but I want to ask you if you yourself sympathize with the amount of effort that men have to put in. Would your female friends also sympathize with?

Maybe always be the one who chases to build a relationship, getting no matches in online dating, having to meet a checklist of requirements to even be in a relationship. Coming from my experience with dating it seems to me that men who are looking for a long-term relationship have an uphill battle in front of them meanwhile women just need to show up.

She is a college student so shes probably 18-24. At that age you need to grow up.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
