Genuinely asking- where do we even start to fix this?

Obviously I still have a lot to learn. I realize I’m not totally welcome in this space and I made the choice to interact. I’m really trying to learn and I have learned a lot from this post. I understand what you mean.

I understand where you’re coming from and I do realize that I am coming into a space that I don’t think I’m quite welcome in. I’ve learned a lot from this post actually and I think that’s great.

I don’t think either gender has it worse🤷‍♀️life is shitty and unfair in uniquely cruel ways for both genders and every person in general. I don’t think women are more important and am sorry if it came off that way.

I agree, I just compared because you also compared struggles between genders in the original post.

Has someone accused you of being a pedophile? If so I am sorry. I obviously don’t believe false accusations are super uncommon and rare. My point is that men are more likely to be victims of rape.

You purposely misunderstand me and took all of those quotes completely out of context. I didn’t come here to play oppression olympics. If you wanna have a real civil discussion I’m open for it but I believe in justice for men who have been subject to violence either from women or other men. That is my belief.

Rape in general isn’t prosecuted enough imo

I think we may agree on a lot more than we realize. Gender roles have forced men into a code of silence and a lot of men don’t even realize that they were in inappropriate sexual situations. Like when you see posts about female teachers raping male students and people comment “where were these teachers when I was in school”. Which only makes it a mockery. I also sympathize with you about false accusations. My brother was a “weird kid” in school and a girl accused him. It was literally impossible…

I agree. Same goes with any form of violence. It’s hard to count the exact number.

No, I never said that. I acknowledged that it happens, is under reported, and isn’t covered enough by the media.

Hello there, I think I can provide some perspective. I am a woman and I think this is an interesting conversation and hopefully we can learn from each other. Most people in the real world acknowledge that there are dire issues men are facing right now. Of course men face abuse, rape, violence, etc. However, women are raped by men at higher rates than men are raped by women. It happens for sure, and the numbers are higher than previous years and you have to take under reporting into account as we…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
