I can utilize analogies, and the rest of your comment simply admits that you don’t have the capacity to deal with real life situations

Where did you read 50% of men think they’re superior to women? What a terribly misandrist thing to say
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 05:12 PM

There’s no equivalent, and your analogy is horribly offensive to those who fought for their country

You think dating men is comparable to fighting in war?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 05:02 PM
1

Bingo
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 04:58 PM
1

Why do you think men in real life wouldn’t care for a woman? That’s a massive assumption
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 04:58 PM

“The guys in the book are fictional, and likely handsome”, so women aren’t attracted to average men?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 04:57 PM
1

Would you say that the male friendships you mentioned are as emotionally and physically intimate as female friendships?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 04:54 PM
1

I agree but why do they see no value in it?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 04:50 PM
4

I agree, those from a rural background or lower socioeconomic class are generally more confined in how they display masculinity. They’re the primary demographic who rely on a romantic partner for emotional intimacy and if they break up, the man is often left alone with nobody to turn to
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 04:33 PM
2

I agree that emotional intimacy takes work on both sides, but why don’t men want to put in that work outside of a romantic context?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 04:26 PM
1

Thank you for the insight, do you think men who cultivate their friendships are in the minority?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 04:17 PM
2

Why is that the case?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 04:11 PM
5

I disagree that once a man experiences emotional intimacy through a relationship it makes him more likely to have emotional intimacy in male friendships. If anything it just makes the male friendships feel surface level and unfulfilling relative to what he had with his partner
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 04:06 PM
1

When was that the standard?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 03:59 PM
1

I’m talking about male social dynamics at large
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 03:55 PM
3

I also think it’s social conditioning, men are brought up to adhere to a certain standard of masculinity. This often results in the aforementioned lack of emotional intimacy between male friends
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 03:53 PM
1

I mean men in general
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/24 05:55 PM
10

Yeah I think you’re right. When you’re starved of attention any almost any girl seems amazing
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/24 05:46 PM
1

Sure, but it’s relatively easy for attractive men too
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/24 05:42 PM
1

I have options too, I don’t think that’s a factor here
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/24 04:53 PM

In this case, the girl invited me back to her apartment. So she was into me
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/24 01:34 PM

According to who?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/24 10:48 PM
1

So you’re saying the majority of people end up in relationships, sounds like they’re not choosing that isolation you keep mentioning
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/24 10:26 PM
1

Cool. On average people would not choose total isolation, and I’m sure you’d agree
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/24 10:19 PM

No I’m quite sure almost everyone would choose physical intimacy over total isolation
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/24 10:11 PM

I should clarify I’ve had romantic success personally. I’m talking about men as a whole
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/24 10:02 PM

I’ve been on both sides. Not trying to brag but I’m tall and been told I could model. Girls have used me for intimacy and ghosted afterwards. Yes it sucks, but having no access to intimacy is worse
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/24 10:02 PM

Getting some form of physical intimacy is better than what many men experience: total isolation
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/24 09:53 PM

Sure girls might indirectly hit on guys by giving signs. But even if rejected the girl can use cognitive dissonance to cope “he just didn’t pick up on my very subtle hints I liked him”. When a man gets rejected there’s no hiding from the truth
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/24 09:48 PM
1

I’m the one approaching them
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/24 12:22 PM
1

Brother? C’mon it’s often just the dude in the pic
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 05:50 PM
2

I respect your viewpoint. It would be nice if more people were as thoughtful and aware as you
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 04:27 PM
2

Well considering you’re on a gender debate subreddit, I’d imagine it has impacted you in some way
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 04:16 PM
2

It’s not just me. Many dudes, including my friends who are admittedly handsome, have had similar experiences
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 04:00 PM
3

About being inundated with attention? No, but I’m sure their boyfriends would be bitter if they knew
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 03:19 PM
1

Most have a dude as their locksceen?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 02:38 PM
1

Cool, but how does that relate to the topic at hand
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 02:06 PM
1

Ireland
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 01:59 PM
1

Western Europe, but the girls are mainly European and North American
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 01:57 PM
1

It’s not necessarily a ‘type’ of woman. It seems to almost be ubiquitous among taken women, I’ve very very rarely had a taken girl outright reject me
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 01:57 PM
2

Considering how common it is, it’s a pretty damming indictment of many women in my opinion 🤷‍♂️
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 01:52 PM
0

They’re just normal bars/clubs in a typical western city. The girls are all completely different, it’s across all types of girl
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 01:50 PM
-1

I may add this isn’t a one off. It’s happened so so many times, it actually appears to be the norm with taken girls
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 01:44 PM
-1

These girls aren’t trashy. The venues I frequent are in an affluent area and the girls go to highly ranked universities/work white collar jobs
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 01:43 PM
1

I assume they want me to give them some plausible deniability, so they can cheat without guilt
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 01:38 PM
2

These girls are grinding on me, putting my hands on their chests and essentially groping me. They also tell me I’m sexy and want to bang but can’t because of their boyfriend. These are not ‘friendly conversations’ that I’m misinterpreting
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 01:35 PM
0

I don’t know, I’m a dude. If anything it’s a reflection of women’s solipsistic nature. I’ll admit I’m tall and quite attractive, and having a boyfriend doesn’t seem to stop these girls from hitting on me
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 01:29 PM
1

Many taken girls have told me their boyfriend is ‘needy’ and they’ve lost attraction towards him. These girls will sometimes approach me in the venue and are very receptive to physicality
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 01:27 PM
4

The boyfriends aren’t in the venues. I find out when I see a dude on their lock screen and ask about it. Sometime they’ll tell me when I go for a kiss, even though they’ve been touching all over me and physically receptive
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/24 01:17 PM
3

This is the exact point I was trying to communicate in my post, you worded it perfectly
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/24 08:35 PM
9

Okay? The audience is women
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/24 02:57 AM
1

Why are the majority of young men single, involuntarily, if women are deeply invested in romance?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/24 02:48 AM
10

Sure it’s often written/produced by men, but the audience is women
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/24 02:40 AM
1

Good points. I’ve had girlfriends and experienced intimacy, so yes women can be romantic. However, you say most women are dating. The majority of young men are single, how is this the case if most women are dating?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/24 02:32 AM

Are you Irish or have you ever been to Ireland? You’re armchair philosophising, I’m speaking from countless points of experience. I’ve dated NUMEROUS Irish women, I choose not to now
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/24 01:38 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
