Don't take the subreddit's ideas from the commenting minority, take it from the content. She was obviously causing trouble, and it was fairly obvious she was telegraphing assault. In a case where a man did it, I'd bet the same thing exact same or very similar event would happen. It's the fact that women often get a free pass for this kind of stupidity that makes it fit for the subreddit, not just the fact that she's a woman and also getting beat up or anything.

I'm only a month late, but I want to add a simple statement as well. Taking an idea from another game, and innovating is not stealing a game. If that were the case every shooter ever should be considered theft, Wolfenstein would be the only one ever made, and the games industry probably wouldn't even exist today.
