Doesn't have to be one or the other. You're likely both right

TRP is not a lifestyle. This is the truth on women whether you accept it or not

a phenomena, which I call warm-up sets. Opening sets and ejecting without getting in my head so much Warming up is always a good idea. In the beginning you shouldnt expect too much either way, warm up or not. I think that gaming requires a lot practise — the more you do it, the more you get better. Yes. You'll get to a point where your game is internalized and you dont have to think about it anymore, it's just a part of you. It's much the same reason why TRP advocates spinning plates. You want t…

The fact that you display this level of confidence in your arguments even when they are this dense, is way more likely the reason why girls like your company, than any level of muscularity is.

Well.. you're just being repetitive now. Being good bait is FAR from letting things happen. It's shooting 5000 jump shots in practice, so when the game starts... hitting that buzzer beater is easy. You can't soley rely on game because you cannot negotiate attraction. You still have to be attractive and whether or not she finds you attractive is going to be the deciding factor the majority of the time. I think everyone is on board with this paragraph on the importance of improving your looks etc.…

I see you're getting some shit in the comments from incredulous people, but I've been in the same situation and everything you say is true. Agreed. Most guys who have never experienced this dont seem to be able to even consider the possibility. these dark triads type who believe that it's all a war of lies between genders, and encourage young men to manipulate girls. I "lie by omission" regularly, and often dont answer questions i think are unproductive to the relationship (but not just question…

if a chick wont so much as look at you twice in the venue....she isn't interested. WOMEN DO THE CHOOSING. This is sort of a reductionist view of attraction. Letting things happen to you instead of making things happen. If you just let fine looking women choose their targets and not display one of your potentially best selling points, so to speak, then you're certainly never going to hook up with women above your SMV. Be Attractive! Attract! Then your game comes into play. Game, i.e. your charism…

This type of field report doesnt do you any favors, and it provides no value for the reader. To fix this, you can begin your FR with some basics on yourself and where you stand in regards to the red pill toolkit. No personal information, but whether you've read the sidebar; did you read any relevant books; whether you lift or not; and if this is your first "approach" or your 100th. Then state a goal for the interactions. Maybe you read an interesting article or a chapter with something you wante…

Of course i put effort into both of these areas, but im not even close to peaking. Last couple years i've done bulk and cut cycles so i've been both ripped and more chunky. Still putting on size, although there's going to be diminishing returns in regards to SMV increase from that.. It's more of a personal goal to chase. Dress wise, think magic_fox (IG) on a budget.

Your n-count will be higher than the average man's, no matter their height category. This goes for any red pilled guy, because it mainly comes down to the sexual strategy in the long run. That's a crazy low bar. I'm a decent looking 5'8 guy myself and have good experience with both daygame and OLD. Have a good roster, been with many girls over 6 ft, even a few hot models. But i have to say, if i was 6'2 or something, it would be so unfair to these other dudes. The amount of times i've been rejec…

All fatigue adds up. It is excessive if your goal is to build muscle optimally, perhaps even if your focus is on the martial art and you dont care about optimal hypertrophy. If you dont think this fatigues you too much, you're not going as hard as you should anyway, and much of the time is already wasted.

FWIW i think you did a good job at identifying both errors and opportunities in hindsight. You need to work on your inner game and get confident talking to women so you can capitalize at every opportunity, and then you're gonna see some great results if you stick to it.

Just gonna chime in and say me jacking off on her. Not very attractive. This is a shitty mindset. NOBODY will like what you're doing if you dont even like it yourself. She should feel honored.

/r/TheRedPill26/09/22 02:48 PM

Exactly. A PPL split like OP is doing over 3 days is suboptimal compared to a 3 day full-body program. Muscle protein synthesis lasts around 2-3 days, meaning that if you hit a muscle only once every 7 days, there is 4-5 days of wasted growth potential.

Im sure this rudimentary explanation was at least understandable enough to consider making a better choice of supplements. It's not rocket science.

Relax on trying to hit bigger numbers on your lifts for a bit while you go on a stricter diet. Cut 15% and you will feel like a god. While lifting heavy is great; health, feeling and looking good is more important.

Amino acids are what make up proteins. Non-essential amino acids are already synthesized in our bodies naturally, and so wont be absorbed at the same rate as essential ones that we can only get through diet, e.g. whey or casein protein. In all honesty that product is total garbage and i would never consider it. A good product has a lot fewer ingredients, and will not have added NEAA's/creatine. Most manufacturers dont have your best interest at heart here. They just want the protein amount to lo…

A great source of content on this if you dont mind video format is Renaissance Periodization on youtube. It is quite succinct and short format. Their beginner series covers everything you need to know about how to cut and bulk amongst other topics.

fix I took this week is to change my next protein powder to be more caloric, which will make eating easier Check the nutritional contents for added non-essential amino acids and creatine. You dont want a powder with this added in, as it means some of the protein in it is essentially useless for you. Creatine is good but use monohydrate that you buy separately, 5g/day.

In regards to lifting and nutrition, I would strongly recommend cutting instead of bulking or recomp in your situation. Yes your lifts will stagnate quicker for a time, but cutting is temporary. There are too many benefits of having a lower BF%. Aim to stay below 15% most of the time. So try cutting to closer to 10% before starting a bulk, and then repeating this process for the best results. Recomp is much less effective, but with the benefit of not having to be as strict with your dieting. Giv…

Agreed. I have wide hips already, and need to focus a lot more on upper body if i want a good V-taper, specifically back and shoulders needs a lot of focus. This has improved my looks immensely compared to when i was training more power-oriented and had more of my weight around the glutes and legs.
/r/TheRedPill26/07/22 02:11 PM

If you have wide hips you need to get pretty big like him to get a good V-taper. I have wide hips so I need to work shoulders and back a lot more to get the V-taper look.
/r/TheRedPill26/07/22 02:00 PM

Not sure whether you're talking about the chatting stage or at the date, but why would you bring up sex in the first place? If she brings it up you have plausible deniability. The sidebar content covers this exact pattern. It's not mindless, it's just the simple answer. Regurgitating content can be good, brought into a new light, but it's usually not, which the average post nowadays highlights quite well.

Your job is to live life on your own terms, and if they tag along, then so be it. Interesting take, as this sub is and always has been intended for discussion of sexual strategy for men. I dont think this post is particularly great, but it's certainly relevant. The weird thing really, is how so many people think TRP is mainly about "staying on your purpose", " just being a high value man", etc.

Most of us face lots of rejection obviously. If you have legitimately tried with a large number of women and have no success though, you're either doing something very wrong or have totally lost in the genetic lottery. As usual, what you're doing wrong would probably be very apparent just from either pictures of you, or seeing you approach in real life. My point is that your sticking points are probably coachable considering you seem smart enough.

If this is your experience then you need to improve your SMV. Through looking as good as you can, having enough money, and becoming decent at seducing women; dating will get easy and you can spin plates with less effort. Contrary to what many think, spinning plates is not an end goal in itself, it's simply something you do to help you become a better man in a RP sense. Once you experience an abundance of pussy you've "been there, done that" and have a better foundation for choosing what kinds of…

judge the opposite sex to higher standards than they hold themselves... It really isnt the same though, that's the argument people here are making. You're only factoring in the literal number of lays, not the variables going into that number i.e. what the number actually means. Any girl who's not too ugly and fat can sleep with countless guys effortlessly. Only either very good looking guys or guys who have put a lot of effort into it can sleep with lots of girls with ease. So you do have a poin…

u/meerita u/uglybaldmofo It's 2021 and you two still think Game is about pick-up lines. To have this discussion at all you first gotta define what you mean by Game. I think most of TRP now defines Game as something like the full set of interpersonal skills at your disposal. This includes frame as one of its core aspects as u/JamesSkepp is stating. It includes push-pull, teasing, how you work around LMR/ASD, how you overcome shit tests, and much more. To say that Game, by this definition, is just…

You equate lifting with style, and then go off about masculine behavior and sex appeal.. You really think lifting is irrelevant to these things? In that case you are delusional. Lifting, fixing diet and sleep are very important for your testosterone levels which in turn is important for your overall masculinity, physical and mental health. "Bye"

Your comments here read like you're completely stuck in some nihilistic black pill or at least MGTOW way of thinking. You've got a skewed perception of what constitutes blue and red pill understanding of women, just like most black pillers.

While reading some of these comments i kept thinking about the early part of the TV series "Vikings". It's just a TV show so there's little corollary, but it does a good job of displaying this process of a younger alpha male, who has few resources but is very interesting and has a high tolerance for risk, challenging the older established alpha in a tribelike society.

Of course. Its not about saying something clever either. Good game is much more: body language, tonality, kino escalation, handling shit tests like a man, push pull dynamic, amused mastery, etc. All are concepts with a lot of details.
/r/TheRedPill09/09/21 04:55 AM

I agree that's probably the common understanding. I believe Rollo, and perhaps others, defines Alpha as traits that arouses a woman sexually, and Beta as provider traits. I prefer this definition because it takes arbitrary and subjective values out of the question. With this definition Beta traits are not inherently bad; on the contrary, they're needed for creating healthy relationships. The point is, then, to have a good balance, where in most cases you'd want predominantly Alpha traits.

It's not just that, but i get your point. Game has evolved over the years to become much different than the old school stuff, but there's still a lot of techniques and principles that need to be followed in order to have good game. Sure, you can integrate that into "the best version of yourself", but oversimplifying it to this degree does not do it justice.

The sidebar has some but not a lot of material on Game. It covers some of the most important stuff like outcome independence, how to handle shit tests, and push-pull. Taking this to heart while improving the other areas of your SMV is much more important than deep delving into Game. If you havent read The Rational Male, do that first. That being said, i like James from The Natural Lifestyles, and Honest Signalz (both on YT).

Dont get all black pilled over this. If you were willing to settle with her you could still be special to her (not that it means much). It's not as simple as OP suggests.
/r/TheRedPill26/07/21 09:29 PM
1

Yes. And it shouldnt come as a surprise to anyone on this subreddit when a plate breaks because she actually found someone willing to settle. Like, it's the main thing a red pilled guy (excluding MRP) wont give a girl, and it's a huge deal for girls. This doesnt mean girls wont be happy to be your plate while they search for their beta bucks. But dont conflate that with love.
/r/TheRedPill26/07/21 09:24 PM
2

I dont get how this is surprising to people. You shouldnt assume that a plate will be loyal in any way in the first place. Unless you're actively hiding your intentions it's usually clear to a plate what your relationship is. However you wanna phrase it; you're the lover that's there until she can find someone else that's good enough for her and who is also willing to settle with her.

Your sense of self-worth is tied up to you being the big guy. Everyone has a few things that, combined, we draw our ego from. You should avoid only having one main thing that keeps you grounded. Jesus dude. I know the gym can grow into a part of your lifestyle but you should seriously cut back on it for the sake of your gains. No more than 4 days, and 3 is great. 6 days is for bodybuilders on roids. It's your choice but this is honestly the quickest way for you to improve as you are currently wasting a ton of that time in the gym. If you want to work out 6 days a week do martial arts or something on the side.
/r/askTRP10/06/21 10:01 PM

Since you're skinny cutting wont get you anywhere. PPL how many days a week, 4? Its probably a good routine. When it's still early in your journey like this though, less is more. If you are in any way unsure about your program i would recommend Stronglifts 5x5 or Starting Strength (both are 3x a week) while you do a clean bulk. Having an extra day off is a good thing and you get extra time to focus on diet. Do one of these for a year to build strength and frame. You can then change up the progra…

This reads like a brag but my point is that it's very possible to lift a lot more than you are at that age. From 20 to 21 i made huge improvements, because when you're starting out you will see huge beginner gains in muscle mass and subsequently in your lifts IF you have a good program and diet. Do not do body builder splits or anything that requires 5 days a week in the gym. It is literally a waste of time for beginners. Like others have pointed out your 1 month outlook is completely stupid. It…

Not long ago i broke up with LTR after over 7 years. I personally couldnt wait to meet new women, but i think that your approach is very healthy and it's what i wish i did. Plan is to go monk mode like you when i get my new apartment sorted.

Sure, it's not a big deal. The story here is pretty irrelevant. What you should do is forget about her as much as you can. Work on yourself and your studies/career, goals, etc. keep reading the sidebar stuff, incorporate and get laid.

The fact that you know she went on a "unfollow-spree" kinda shows you are. I think there's no issue with keeping it just to chat with your friends when you need to use SM for that, and for showing off some SMV gains if you wish.

At 21 i was doing stronglifts 5x5 (3 days a week). Approx what i had then was: Squat 120 kg Bench 90 kg Deadlift 135 kg All with proper technique as a smaller guy. I did a coaching class and read up a lot on compound lifts before starting. And i ate like a strongman for a while. Gainer shakes with whole fat milk and a bit of vegetable oil (lol). Liters of milk a day and more. Dont recommend going crazy with milk. But you need to eat a lot and practice form. Edit: This reads like a brag but my po…

Dont eat too clean if youre trying to max out on gains. Gainer shakes, whole fat milk, add in another serving of mince meat, extra eggs. You might feel pretty bad when increasing intake

My advice just from looking through this at a glance i would say that you gave off nice-guy vibes. When you're on a 1 on 1 date, even in the pandemic, you escalate like normal. Dont kiss her damn forehead man. I've made this mistake on a first date recently too (she was actually brazilian), as i just started dating again, and have come to this conclusion after a few better first dates. Look, if you were infected, you will infect your date as well, that's just part of the package these days imo, …

Imo cold approaching is a waste of time if you're going out of your way just to do that. It's fine if you really want to grow a pair of balls fast and get out of your comfort zone, but it's also pretty hard if your SMV is just average. You can get numbers if you talk the talk but most of those will usually flake for different reasons. Covid also screws with being able to kino escalate in public, at least around here. If you're out at a mall to purchase something, then definitely hit up some girl…

what? Yeah how can you benefit. I dont know. It's an ex ltr and an ex plate. Key word "ex", so why bother?

Did you read the blog post on Illimitable men? Get a blood test to check your values. If they're high i personally wouldnt do it. Medium i would still wait a few years at a minimum (you're still developing). If someone helps me out I will be more than grateful, I dont want to suffer and get good advice from you who knows everything. People here are still strangers on the internet. Extremely few have any sort of verifiable experience, so stay critical.

A good social life doesnt come on its own. Takes time and real effort. Requires you to go out of your comfort zone many times. There's a lot of us that are working on this, playing the long game, so you're not alone.

Might get his take on that too but i will say that, especially when starting out again, 5 days a week is a lot, depending on the program. I was a solid gym goer, of about 6 months If you lifted for 6 months you are still a beginner (which is great). If we're talking about the same program then Stronglifts 5x5 is a 3 days a week program with compound lifts to maximise gains in the early stages of your development. You should not do these lifts 5 days a week, you will only hinder your gains. Serio…

Good insights. I think the importance of high SMV with this routine is a good takeaway, like with most RP stuff. Not understanding that SMV is very important could make this strategy feel frustrating for beginnners. Honestly, having a lower SMV i rarely get IOI's and thus i have to work quite a bit to pique sexual interest. I actually get more confidence knowing that working towards a higher SMV will make things progressively easier, and knowing that "game" is probably never gonna be harder than…

Abundance mentality. If she thinks that, and you know she is wrong, it’s her loss, not yours. I dont think this is a reasonable argument in itself. Obviously the goal is to hook up with her, abundance or not. Being fine with rejection doesnt mean you should make decisions that are unhelpful to your game. Is it unhelpful? Probably not if your SMV is good.

I would be worried this might get them wondering if you got self esteem issues or something, but i see you kinda adressed that near the end and so far the pros have outweighed the cons. So you dont feel pressure round 1 because no sex, cool, but do you feel more pressure come r2 after this strategy?

Somewhat relatable. There's no way to avoid being affected by your situation if it's bad. Focus on getting your life on track. Get busy lifting weights/cardio etc. think about how to improve your career/income and keep reading the sidebar. As the actual foundations of your life start to become stable you will have an easier time improving your social skills.

Great job dude, keep that up. Keep reading the sidebar and try to focus on other stuff; you're all in your head right now. You need to find things to keep you busy like lifting, working and hobbies. Then figure out what kind of hobbies/work keep you busy AND happy then work towards that. Preferrably something that pays well. Implement what you find in the sidebar along the way and you're golden. There's no quick fix.

Sidebar FAQ section has a post + comments on online dating that covers the basics for a cookie cutter approach. Basically, it's a lot of hassle if you dont have a great SMV. As other's have pointed out it's a real shit show. Only use it to supplement day/night game imo.

Cool story. But honestly your key take away from this experience can be that you shouldn't enable your X's shitty decision making just because you can. Now you know AWALT goes for her too (doesnt sound surprising at fucking all with this one, but whatever), and you can keep working; on yourself AND for your kid. Be happy the loser BF got a real job instead of dealing drugs Dont screw the crazy X Involve yourself in better ways

The issue with this program and similar splits is that you're getting very low volume on each muscle per week, taking away from your potential. If you have 2-3 times a week in the gym, you should definitely go for a full body program with mostly compound lifts. Starting Strength has been recommended and is the best approach without a doubt. Dont aim to cut weight going into SS. Most importantly, dont worry about the scale. Do measurements instead of you want to check your progression (slimmer wa…

You sound like you're trying to suppress your past and your flaws. Dont do that. Do not try to punish yourself. And it can't be erased. What you need is to accept yourself and your past, entirely. Only then will you be free to evolve.

I thought you were answering to a joke comment here but seems like the guy is serious.. Religion might seem like the answer to your struggles right now, but that can change quickly. You dont have to buy into the system like that.

I think you're describing someone who's all push and no pull. You dont have to be particularly attractive to pull this off; as OP said he was invited over at 2am and she was obviously invested. When you get to that point then general attractiveness is no factor.

Man here: First of all, try to realise and remember that if things dont work out with this particular guy for any reason, it's not the end of the world, it's not actually a big deal. As you say, getting to a level of basic comfort can help ease you up. Start with baby steps. Engage and set up dates over text if you need to. Plan to do something you consider relatively relaxing. For me that would be taking a walk somewhere cool while grabbing an ice cream cone, or similar. E.g. just sitting down …
