You are allowed to encrypt to protect your files from anyone other than the government. But if the government request the password then you have to give it to them or go to jail.

I just got an email from my work explaining the new office dress code. We are no longer allowed to wear shorts, but skirt wearing is fine (it never actually specified female only). Also, a point that made me laugh is that we're not allowed to wear visible underwear....Damn, that's gonna mess with ma swag /s

This is something I haven't experienced. Firstly because I don't yet have children. But secondly because here in the uk our disabled toilet is separate and always unisex, and changing facilities are normally in these. I know my country isn't great, but can I say good guy UK in this case?

Thing is, I'm sorry to say, but there probably is more than your friend is making out. There must have been at least a few men on the jury and I don't think they'd agree a guilty verdict if it was just his word against hers. I know we hear a lot about these kinds of cases, but we will never know fully what the jury knew, but rest assured that pretty much every man fears being falsely accused of rape, and so based on that you have to ask yourself why would the men of the jury convict your friend …

I can't comment for the us, but these things still occur in the uk (where I am) and in any other crime the judges say that being intoxicated is in no way an excuse for breaking the law. Yet somehow, being intoxicated gives you a right to claim that consensual sex is suddenly rape, as you made yourself unable to consent when you decided to get drunk. I seriously don't understand this logic.

Wow, what the actual fuck. Thing is, if your child is running around then I'm assume she's at an age where she can understand (to some degree) what is going on around her. You being arrested and CPS coming round and interrogating her will not help at all. In fact, it will make her scared and may even scar her for life, they think they're doing good but they are just making things much much worse.

Also, many criminals don't get custodial sentences in the UK anymore. Firearm posession, theft, burglary, robbery and assaults often do not result in a custodial sentence. So I think it is more of a matter of sorting out our justice system as a whole rather than this particular issue of false rape allegations.
