Your description sounds like one from a person trying to get over an addiction. Whether it goes that far I can't say, but it's evident that you've certainly gotten yourself a bad habit. As with any other bad habit, you can either replace the habit with something else (keeping busy) or force yourself to remove it from your immediate access and go cold turkey. You say you've been doing the former and it doesn't help. Might as well try the latter. If you genuinely can't seem to find the willpower i…

Can body language qualify as communicating through actions? I suppose. But what we're talking about is so much more. Why and how do you associate with people in your life? What makes them worthy of such association for you? Does whatever they just said/did affect that standing in any way? If so, adjust accordingly to maintain a position beneficial to you.

Fair point. What you say doesn't matter as much as how you say it - more importantly how you make her feel. Rock on brother.

I really enjoyed this post. I think the concept holds with gauging much of our interactions with others. Though I'm really curious about that part 2. How about a hint as to what it might be before you get down to creating a post about it?

You're being downvoted because that isn't a productive mindset to be in. When I read that I don't imagine a sly guy with a smirk who is fun to be around. I imagine a socially awkward guy who will probably be seen as a creep no matter how physically attractive he is. TRP 101: You're the prize. If you really want to go down that route, at least turn it into a playful comment by accusing her of trying to take advantage of you (not the drink, that is a non issue. the sex.). Maybe she's trying to get…

Your body can't make mass disappear. Your metabolism may be very fast so it's burning a lot, but eat more than what you burn and you will gain weight. Not gaining any weight = not high enough caloric surplus. Eat more, burn less if you can, problem solved. Not gaining muscle as part of weight being gained = not working out enough. Or hard enough. No pain no gain.

I know for a fact that you aren't jacked. If you had been lifting enough, you'd know beyond a shadow of a doubt how much changes in your body also change what you used to perceive as unchangeable personality traits which make you who you are.

You do appear to be too factual and logical. I used to be that way too. The change came naturally over time as I "faked it" at first while also working on my body. Personally, I've come to believe that the physiological changes I've gone through (more muscle, much less fat, higher T, actually like what I see in the mirror) has formed the basis for what I was faking at first to start becoming my default state of mind. I still can switch to thinking entirely logically and annoy people in conversat…

I was wondering where the attitude was, that's more like it. There is no problem, buddy. You're free to believe what you want, just as I am. I am merely someone who has spent years and relationships away with your kind of thinking, and has gone through more than enough after becoming aware of the truths that I have learned here to know what works and what doesn't - and why. Feel free to go on calling whatever you like dorky or a mating plan, or any other subjective adjective. I am only here to c…

That depends on so many things. Are you in the West in a big city? Do you have disposable income? Have you been lifting and taking care of your body to the point where you're at least quite fit now, even if you're not buff yet? What kind of activities do you enjoy? How did you typically spend your free time before you moved? The optimal course of action depends on context such as these and more. If that's the path you choose, then I sincerely do hope you are able to continue living in your blissful ignorance until your very last breath. It certainly is an existence that can feel more rewarding in some ways. Know however that this place is merely a resource which provides information for those whose similar outlooks on life have been proven to be untrue and unhelpful by their own experiences.

Building your social circle is key. Every day you make decisions not to go out and meet new people. Be it through cold approaching, joining that group of friends for that thing you didn't really feel like doing, starting new outdoor/extroverted hobbies etc. the opportunities are endless. You will only be able to feel the abundance when you truly have it. It doesn't have to be having alternative women ready to take your load that instant. Not first at least. Work on having options of people, whos…

You're looking at it the wrong way. What went wrong? What went wrong is you didn't include improving yourself socially in your goals. The guys who managed to get the 8s and 9s, they put in years into building a lifestyle that allowed them to do that. They worked side gigs or did hobbies that put them around a lot of these women. You might have considered it pathetic that they went so far just to get laid but then years down the road, they are the ones who are having success with hot girls while …

I do, actually. I'm not sure if it's related to your studies but I would certainly appreciate someone from the US who can give it to me straight about some things which I simply lack the information to evaluate accurately. Agreed. And thank you for the kind words. I have great respect for the men who continue to contribute here even though they have reached a point where they no longer need to spend time on TRP for themselves. I am of similar age and upbringing. Spent the majority of my life sitting in front of a computer. Lifting has corrected my posture nearly completely in the last year and a half. I'm genuinely looking forward to how much better it's going to keep getting. I remember having to put conscious effort into keeping myself upright. That is no longer the case. My body was simply too weak. Lift, my friend. There are so many reasons we constantly preach it here.

The thing about living conditions in third world countries is not just that people make less money, it's also the fact that many goods from luxury electronics to basic necessities like food are more expensive. I used to live in a country where the minimum wage was less than $400 a month. Paid $2-3 for 10 regular eggs. Free range/organic and other fancy shit could easily go up to 5-6 dollars.

Here's my two cents: Attraction is a magical mysterious thing for women. This much we know. They are not aware of (or want to be aware of) the mechanics which produce it. Women who are attracted to you think they want to know you in the same way that it really bugs you not knowing how the magician pulled off that trick that you really liked. You may really think you want to know, but if you found out that it was nothing but cords and pulleys and trick boxes you'd lose all fascination with it. Yo…

It may not end up being for everyone, but it's definitely worth a shot. It worked wonders for me. I tried all the shampoos, minoxidil and everything. My hair was never too thick to begin with and continued receding into my mid 20s. I decided to get a really short buzz cut a few months back and never looked back. Had it shaved entirely as well, and will do so more often once the weather gets warmer. In any case, it's so much more comfortable and relaxed not having to worry about whether anything …

Of course I do. We all do. That's the whole point. And if you want to improve anything about your own life, so do you. The fact is that unless you're in a vegetative state with no control over your mind and/or body, there is always something you can do. Yes, some people do have a situation so extreme that no matter what they do they can not change their situation. You claim to not believe in morals, yet you fail to acknowledge that your filth & smut can be another man's good, or even holy - and that your holy can be another man's filth. They are just words. So are your labels of filth and smut. Once you acknowledge your subjective world view is just that, you can move on to build real arguments based on truth and falsehood instead of arbitrary, artificial and entirely subjective dichotomies. I see. In that case, I used to be in a similar situation. It's much easier to stay off of masturbation once NSA sex becomes easily obtainable. You end up preferring it that way since you enjoy the sex more. That being said, porn is an entirely different issue. Before I got to that point, I simply cut out porn from my masturbation habits. Nofap didn't seem feasible for an extended time, and when you put so much pressure on yourself it's much easier to fall back to old habits. I would strongly sug…

Are you lifting? Have you gained decent lean mass and dropped your body fat below 15%? Have you begun seeing how differently other men and women treat you? Be hot, be interesting, be social. Done deal. Hobbies can help with all three of these, or none. It depends on the hobby. But as long as your hobby isn't sitting in front of a computer alone and involves interacting with other people, things pick up from there - at least on the two latter issues. We already assume you're lifting and dressing decent to have the first one under control. It doesn't have to be about directly meeting hot women ASAP in what you do. You meet people. I don't presume to know more about your situation than you do, obviously. It's just that the certainty in your tone seems a lot like that of myself and countless others here who believed one way or another that they had things covered - before they got burned and had to adjust their world view to the new empirical data they obtained. TRP is not about US politics. Yes, some of its truths may be more in line with the teachings of one side within US politics, but the truths taught by TRP would continue to hold true even if the US or it's political system ceased to exist - just like they did before this sub, the internet, or the US existed. This is the internet, and an open platform within it. There will always be outsiders brigading every now and then, newcomers deciding to contribute before they fully understand TRP, and even …

Eh. Define corrupt. The entertainment industry, just like all others, goes where the money is. This SJW bullshit is just the current trend for the manifestation of the idiocy of the masses, so that's where they'll go because that's what sells. There are different fashions across different cultures and periods of time, and there will continue to be. Money, and those seeking it, will always follow.

The source of your continuing anger at women is you judging them based on the same criteria you'd judge yourself, or me. If you keep looking for something akin to "rational and at least somewhat benevolent and consistent self-aware adult human behavior" in apples, or children, or women, you will continue to be disappointed. I know that feeling. It's like it's hard coded into them. I used to be in pretty much the same cycle in my BP serial monogamist days. "Female friends" reacted similarly or just gave bs advice. The other day though, I was having a conversation with a relatively new female friend, and when I casually dropped "... and women always have backup plans when they're in a relationship." with a chuckle, all she had to say was something which translates roughly into "you really seem to have women figured o…

Very true. In fact, this post applies all across the board, not just with women you are romantically or sexually involved with. My relationship with my ex-boss turned partner has improved dramatically over the past year thanks to TRP's teachings. Yes, average doesn't cut it. That's why we're here. Have you tried living in a 3rd world country on the right side of that map? After I graduated from one of the best universities in my country, it took me 4 years of working 60+ hours a week to kick ass in my job and start making above average income so I could finally afford rent. For a room. In an apartment I share with 2 other people. No one said life was fair. Suck it up, be thankful for the opportunities you have, do your best and be the be…

I agree that this is the most reliable way to find the kind of happiness that is truly possible for men - one that isn't rooted in delusion. Though I think one must realize their misconceptions about the nature of happiness first, to be able to become satisfied with this. I'm sure many of us felt this disconnect between what we knew as happiness as children and what we've been able to achieve as adults even before swallowing the pill. You certainly do need to go out and try things in order to fi…

Holy fuck man, and I thought I was beginning to figure these things out by now. So much to learn. And so much still left to unlearn. I got so many positive results in my personal relationships from quitting my earlier ways of 100% straight talk that I guess I lost sight of the fact that in some cases it's still going to be my best bet.

You make a good point. Evidently, I have allowed her to shift my perception back to being "just an employee". Even though she verbally claims she wants me not to see myself that way and feel ownership of (and responsibility for) the business, every time I've take an initiative I wouldn't have if I were still an employee, I ended up receiving hostility with similar undertones from her. I suppose in my avoidance of such pointless conflict I've turned to a "fine then, I'll be your dumb little robot…

Wow, I wasn't expecting such a quick and constructive response. I truly appreciate the effort, and the insight. Though my situation is somewhat more nuanced than a typical employee in a large company with multiple layers of management. In short, we spent a few years in such a position. I became her "golden boy" (and that of her bosses and clients), as you put it, by constantly being the one who gets shit done throughout all the crap we went through. When things went to shit there, she quit to st…

I've been working on this for the past couple months and have certainly made a lot of progress in most of my personal relationships. One nut I can't seem to crack is my (female) boss though. Naturally the fact that I'm her employee means that I comply with her wishes when it comes to work, but often times these wishes can be contradictory to one another, illogical, or even downright inconsistent with reality. Any idea on how to establish at least a bottom line set of my own rules without going n…

Well, while I agree with the truth of what you're saying, I believe I may be able to explain why it is not that frequently discussed here based on my own experiences. In my BP days of being a video gaming, mediocre-job-holding, out of shape serial monogamist, I still agreed with everything you said. In fact, I agreed much more strongly, much more emotionally than I do now. As I started to unplug, get into shape, improve my financial condition, started taking less shit from people, and just go th…

I fully agree. Yes, many here will probably end up going on the defensive as you predicted, but if you can get past that initial reaction and think about what this man is saying, you will know it to be true. Sex is highly overrated. More often than not, it is not the ultimate experience society makes it out to be; at least not for (and with) the vast majority of people. Once you've unplugged from the brainwashing which inflates the perceived value of sex, turning it into a true value proposition…

I don't recall a single instance where your posts induced anything other than a comprehensive, calm understanding of the matter at hand in me. Thank you for choosing to turn back and lend us a hand day in and day out, when you could just be moving forward instead. I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like to know that you have made helped pick up, or even saved so many lives. We're lucky to have you. Right... Now that I got that mushiness out of my chest, I need to go punch a few puppie…

Actually, polygamy is an androgynous term. It applies to both having mutliple male partners and female ones. As such, a woman mating with multiple males would indeed be polygamous. What you're referring to is polygyny. The male counterpart would be polyandry.

I realize it seems impossible to get through all these hurdles, but focus on one thing at a time. In fact, before you focus on any of these, start by creating a habit to replace your old ones. Start lifting. Today. Make sure you lift your goddamn hardest for at least 3 days a week for 3 months, then let's talk.

Disdainful bullshit. Stand up for yourself, and what you believe in when people get in your way. Respect others who do the same instead of assuming your preferences have priority in determining both your and their actions. Grow up.

The vast majority (if not all) "modern" women are bisexual. This is something I've strongly believed in for over a decade - since long before swallowing the pill. Bear in mind I'm using the word as a simple definition for those who are attracted to both sexes. Simply put, I have yet to feel sexual attraction to anything but human females, ergo I could be accurately defined as heterosexual. Should I find myself attracted to males as well one day, I would define myself as bisexual. I suspect t…

As apposed to a restaurant which actually has a positive selling point rather than merely the lack of negatives, such as good or interesting food, jackass.
