I think some people didn't get enough of something as children and were made to work very hard for scraps and now as adults, they're like superman coming to earth in some ways. For a long time, I was threatened (and sometimes still am) by other groups, like black people, women and gay and transgender people deciding to redefine themselves -- in much more positive, human and historically accurate ways -- for themselves.
