Sounds like you're pretty young, and I know when you're young you think you know everything. The good part about being young is that you have plenty of time to learn from your mistakes. If I'd had information like this while I was obsessing over one girl, I could have avoided a lot of wasted time in my life. Hopefully you do the wise thing and listen to people who have experienced this. Also, one-itis destroys your game because you can't not give a shit.

In high school and college I successfully navigated out of the friend zone twice. To be short, it wasn't worth it. These were amazing girls that I was infatuated with, but I WASTED A TON OF TIME.
