You know you can accept that men and women are different without being disrespectful to them, right? I mean, what about RPW or the guys in RP LTRs?

I agree with the core of the red stuff, but I think the hateful way it's conveyed is excessive at best and disgusting at worst.

The political horseshoe as it were.

Is your argumentative style to never address anything? We could break down any material into its naturally occurring components. Discussing the number of steps between acquisition of a resource in the wild to medicinal application is irrelevant, the act of intervening in nature itself is what is being argued.

Do you extend this to bacterial or fungal infections which tend to require the administration of anti-biotics? What of vaccinations? To be more direct, is there any condition in which you would take medication? It doesn't need to be ongoing; something short term like a strep infection. If so, I would argue that it would be against nature. Also, would you say it is against nature to perform invasive surgical procedures? If someone was going to die from a rupturing appendix, would you say it is ag…

Nothing of what I said relies upon personal experience or anecdote. Additionally, you recognize that this is personal for me, yet you are the one that refuses to defend your position. You rapidly fire off claims coupled with incendiary language and when I dissect what's being said you only return with new insults and claims. To say that we are "debating" at all is a mockery to the concept considering your lack of obligation to address my concerns. I believe I've illustrated competency in stating…

Your position relies upon a few inaccuracies in order to persist. First of all, you seem to be conflating being male with being a man. I will always recognize that I have male chromosomes, a prostate gland, memories of being raised a boy, etc. That's true and I'm not the least bit delusional in recognizing that, nor do I think the majority of trans folk think that they can literally change from male to female or vice versa. The accommodations made for trans men and women are to help them stabili…

First, I am openly trans and have posted here in PPD stating so. Second, I believe that if you compare the rhetoric between our posts that you will find your writing to be seeded much more heavily in emotional wording. It's easy to understand why I would be invested in defending my position, but leaves me wondering why you are adament on persisting in delusion. Why do you ignore the questions I ask; is it because they demonstrate how your position is untenable? Why do you use childish insults to…

I equivocated two areas of medical knowledge that were lacking hundreds of years ago as well as both being of little importance to those struggling to survive daily life. If you fail to recognize that, then I would suggest you stear clear of analogies and comparisons in future conversations to save yourself the confusion of having them returned to you. Are you going to admit your intellectual shortcommings in the understanding of the diagnosement and treatment of transsexuals, or will you contin…

With all that projecting, I'm surprised you found time to try and make an argument. Calling me but hurt while throwing about toddler grade insults doesn't bolster your position. Saying that we are concerned with a problem in modern times that we weren't previously as evidence of it being trivial lacks logic. We didn't have nearly the same amount of knowledge surrounding cancer as we did at the beginning of the 20th century, and cancer is something that war-torn 3rd world countries aren't concern…

I hope it claims you. If you can admit that trans folk have problems and can recognize that transitioning solves their problems more than any other treatment administered thus far, then you have no excuse to denigrate those that go through with it. Additionally, I presume you are like the majority of humans that use pronouns based on how you percieve someone; I doubt you run blood tests before deciding to call someone sir or mam. If you can plainly see someone expressing as a female, it takes sn…

Is it unhealthy to want sex from people that are waiting to give it to you? Is it unhealthy to want to be attended to by many, willing people? Isn't possible to have these feelings without also being narcissistic? If someone is your plate or orbiter, they do so willingly, no? Should one feel shame for being attractive or having many relations? Does this apply to situations outside of plates/orbits: am I narcissistic if I have many friends that I juggle giving attention to? I disagree that a pers…

In these studies, were the women asked to give a reason or did the researchers come to that conclusion? The relevance being that a TRPr would remind you that women don't know what they want, so why would one expect them to know why they cheated or be honest about it?

Let me take a stab. "In my opinion drunken sex can be classed as rape if there was no consent or interest from both parties when they are sober." If I consented to sex and my would-be partner said no, I would not have sex with them. If they consent to sex with me, then I know it's safe to do it. If they later retract when they sober up, then that makes me a rapist because they would not have had sex if they were less inebriated. However, would that also make them a rapist since I wouldn't have w…

You post a thread on here every other day and come out swinging with insults, insinuations, and emotion. Are you a troll, or bad at debating?

Are you saying that you must be an arrogant ass if you are not a polite pushover? As if that's the sole dichotomy of maleness? Obviously the 'shit' they are referring to is non-alpha behavior. If you naturally have a high SMV, then it's possible to exhibit some beta traits and still be perceived as attractive.

You first start posing a question, then you assume no one can possible answer it, then you start tell them what they should admit to. If I was RP, I wouldn't even bother to respond because it's far too obvious that you wouldn't give a shit about what I had to say on the topic. Have you ever considered that your tone might be the reason why you don't get answers?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/14 08:36 AM

I'd be careful what things you say in a scathing tone as you may be making accusations about people that are on your side.

Considering that one of the sides is just a mockery of the other, I'm not sure what info they would want me to listen to before hand.

I like all these comments talking about how Red Pill makes men <insert x negative trait>, but completely denies the fact that there's an entire other gender that takes the Red Pill. If you are going to say that this ideology is almost wholly bad for women, why are there plenty of females here on PPD and RPW that would defend RPT? In other words: When talking about TRP, don't just focus on the men. You are participating in the erasure of RPW.

You're talking to someone that likes to be catcalled, so I probably wouldn't bark up that tree.

I would rather watch a debate between two sides than listen to a lecture from both.

"Hey, smile more!" "You look sexy!" "Hey sexy, come over here!" "Damn that's a nice outfit." Equals "Hey, if I wanted to, I would hold you down and fuck you." Got it.

The source linked in the article only shows the abstract, so I can't see what the actual research says. However: "In one of the experiments, researchers asked 32 different couples to take a test that supposedly measured their intelligence. The tests were not actually graded, but each participant was told that their partner scored in either the top 12 percent or bottom 12 percent of all university students. Men whose partners allegedly scored in the top 12 percent scored lower on an implicit self…

As someone that stands outside of both groups, I'd like to take a stab at this: TRP: Believes that sexual dimorphism is expressed in human cognitive activities. By studying the differences in the sexes, one could use that knowledge to pursue relationships and better one's self. TBP: While aware that there are biological differences between men and women, do not believe that men and women have significantly varying psyches. Those that claim otherwise must be influenced by misinformation or bias.
