I'm not sure if you're referring to my post, I don't think I mentioned anything about religion. But no, it's not gendered, there are quite a few pro-life women. I think the ratio is 60/40ish, pro-choice to pro-life respectively. Younger women tend to be more pro-choice. I'm a pro-life atheist myself, fwiw. Lmao, can't blame you for avoiding them, but yeah, I've been seeing such claims on Twitter a lot this week. Twitter's not real life of course, but it's definitely a prime bunker for the ideologue generals of our culture war trenches. It's really just a variation on the usual refrain, i.e., "if men could menstruate, tampons would be free" kinda claims. And yeah, that could definitely be the case. We consent to the risk of death all the time, like when we drive cars, more so if we do without seat belts. We even consent to killing OTHER people when we drive.
