If they advertise it as affecting mostly women they will most likely get more money. Who wants to a help a dirty old man? They did NOT advertise it as affecting 'mostly' women. Heart disease-it's not just a man's disease. ...women die of heart disease and stroke... ... can be prevented with education ... Which is why they are educating people, who grew up believing that heart disease was just a man's disease. Which brings us back to the adds first statement: Heart disease - it's not just a man's…

Interesting. The American Heart Association is the nation’s oldest, largest voluntary organization devoted to fighting cardiovascular diseases and stroke. American Heart Association About Page Yet, you, claim What you've got here is a special interest industry group trying to line their pockets, that is all. Hmm. *edit to add link

Yet, instead of posting something relevant to the topic, ironically, YOU choose to derail by complaining about an unrelated campaign aimed to help young girls. First in a thread and it's changing the subject. Thank you for your contribution. It helps to illustrate the unfortunate trend of people in this sub, where many prefer bitching about girls and women to staying on topic and discussing actual issues surrounding boys and men.

ADHD couldn't be more suspicious. It also appears to be worse in some regions of the US which appear to be raising the percentage quite a bit. Focusing on the diagnosing trends by state might help get this stuff under control. Important findings from this study include: More than 1 in 10 (11%) US school-aged children had received an ADHD diagnosis by a health care provider by 2011, as reported by parents. 6.4 million children reported by parents to have ever received a health care provider diagn…

Here's a page full of informative links on child custody For more direct information, do a search online for your local Family Court (search by County and State) or just type in County, State child custody both searches should bring up options for more direct legal advice on the situation.

Almost all male U.S. citizens, and male immigrants living in the U.S., who are 18 through 25, are required to register with Selective Service. It's important to know that even though he is registered, a man will not automatically be inducted into the military. In a crisis requiring a draft, men would be called in sequence determined by random lottery number and year of birth. US Selective Service Fed programs linked to SS States programs linked to SS

It's not necessary to be physically stronger than your victim in order to rape them. The cases where that is necessary, it is typically a male perpetrator and it is also the least prevalent form of rape. Where have you read that? All I could find was something from RAINN: Rape victims may be forced through threats or physical means. In about 8 out of 10 rapes, no weapon is used other than physical force. Anyone may be a victim of rape: women, men or children, straight or gay.

I mean, historically, men have made almost all political, military, and governmental decisions. Women are looked upon much more forgivingly by courts. Courts are in fact, part of the government, and you are just saying that Men have, historically, had the privilege of deciding which gender to forgive more. Maybe some other examples are needed.

You linked to American Casualties, totally discounting the people in Vietnam, where the war actually took place. I think if you only view 'war' as the armies going 'off to war' and you never look at the war zone itself and the homes, hospitals, info-structure and the people living there as an important statistic you might come up with the simplistic view that only soldiers (mostly men) are affected.

It's their school. I think those students have more of a right to comment on what's on their campus, regardless of their justifications, than I do. Citizens Annoyed with Hypocrisy and Hypersensitivity More like Citizens going out looking for things to be hypersensitive about.

I think the information you have found already is probably applicable because it's about the child support, not spousal support. Look for information on your local (state and county if applicable) Family Court website. Follow those resources. Also, Family Court Lawyers have answers to your questions. good luck

National Safe Haven Alliance Lists all states laws in .pdf format. Since most of them are up to three days from birth, we can expect the target of this information to mostly be mothers but the ones I looked at used "parent" in the wording. I did not however, check each state.
