I've started saying stupid things, like Robert Downey Jr. in "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang": "I'm retired. I invented dice when I was a kid." It kind of reinforces what tombreck2 said further down, if she really likes you, she won't care what you do for work. If she cares that much, she's probably looking for BB. EDIT I guess as a conversation piece, if you do something really interesting, you should obviously tell her. But if you have a boring/mundane job like me, I see no reason.

Well done. The words "her" or "she" do stupid things to women, and you took that reaction like a handoff from the QB, hit the hole against her weak front seven, and took it to the house. Do your best touchdown dance in Ft. Lauderdale.

I went to a smaller school in the northeast, so I certainly have a different perspective, but yeah, if you weren't Greek or playing a sport for the university, good luck. Might be planning a return trip one of these weekends with some dudes from college, hit up the old bars and whatnot. Should be fun. OP, just go for it. As others have mentioned, there are sooooo many people there that if you fail, it's not like the entire school will know about it and blacklist you. If you fail, hit up a differ…

Yes. Lots of dudes think that they can manage a girl. I think that the second you have to change your behavior, you should move on.

Seriously, this. You can be awesome to both yourself and other people, and that's a good thing.

My favorite book. Good take on it, man. I've always read it as a revenge fantasy, without really considering the negative side of Edmond's actions and motivations, particularly in the middle. After I finish my current reads, I might dig into Count again with a different lens. Thanks for posting.

Good call. It's not like you need to let her/your peers know if she's super easy. Do what you do, treat her with some respect, and move on.

My Metallica shirt is just fine, thank you. That aside, I agree. You (in general, not you, OP) don't know why she isn't interested unless she tells you specifically. Even then, move on and keep at it. Are looks helpful? Yep. Are they everything? Big fat nope.

Judge Lord Glennie, passing sentence, said that while battering her son to death was cruel and inexcusable, it was clear Adekoya did not intend to kill him and was ‘not even aware that death was a possibility until it happened’. Fucking wow. Except, it was excused. ‘Mr Saeed never sent them a birthday card That monster.

I lol'd at "rolls of fertility." Not sure if that was intentional or a typo by the writer.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
