Any defense attorney worth his salt would have hammered home reasonable doubt, especially after she had to revise her story to match when he actually lived there. 10	Mother threatens to beat daughter if she doesn't accuse father of rape, now father can't get out of jail after mother and daughter recant stories. Who would keep an innocent man in prison to protect their own pride? Many, many more than you would think. I would go so far as to say that the majority of prosecutors would. 59	Ohio Judge tells defendant to "shut up" when he demands a jury trial and right to testify, no evidence and a lying cop results in the guy's life destroyed, loses place at Harvard. "Excuse me?! I think not, your honor." All he can do is hold you in contempt, so you spend a day in jail. Well worth it to put an asshole with a gavel in his place.
