I dunno, but how come at the end of the day, it's women who need a subreddit of hopefuls waiting and wishing for the man to propose? Not true, it exists everywhere, sending the husband to the couch is an acceptable joke at a dinner table or even in a work place. Society in general is just tolerant to rudeness, and even violence towards men when it's coming from women. Look at that video link in my previous comment, those are public places, they found it funny and entertaining when it's the woman abusing the man. Albeit, why do men have to be "liked" before they can be treated with basic decency and fairness?

It's not about liking or hating men, this is one of those social biases/hypocrisies that favour women. It's socially acceptable to make jokes about the man sleeping on the couch for "offending" the wife, not quite so if you make jokes about a man sending the wife to the couch. Even with physical violence, it's socially acceptable for women to be violent towards men, in fact it's funny and entertaining, but a man dares not raise his hands on a woman, NO MATTER WHAT.
