Agreed. I worked with a guy decades ago who was over confident with martial arts. He decided to pick a fight with a big guy and the guy picked him off the ground and held him. My coworker flailed about cussing while we all laughed!

"Even if your woman is being cat called"...to add, guys who do this when you're with your woman are trying to get a rile out of the you. I had this happen in a mall in high school with my girl and I told the guy thanks for complimenting my ass and we walked off. He didn't reply.

Very true. This is stuff that should have been figured out in HS. Edit: I did throw by GF ex-boyfriend into an ice machine when he disrepected her. I was 19. I am near 50. Can't do that anymore...lol.

I agree, but that is half the equation. The other half is psychological, managing the fight or flight trigger: "Games People Play" by Eric Berne. However, lifting and knowing how to defend yourself increases self confidence. Edit: You can be the biggest toughest MF out there, but it just takes someone knowing how to flip the switch to turn you into an intimidated 5 year old.

Wonder if she's a fixer. Always looking to find someone broke to fix/change. Once that's done, she's no longer interested.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
