Ok what the hell, do you have a camera in my house? 😂 I cannot tell you how much I needed to see this. The one thing holding me back is my kids. How can I make a choice to not have or see my kids half the time? How can I make a choice that will make them so upset? I have been putting on a brave and happy face for so long that they won’t understand. It’s so fucking hard. Pay attention to the LVM red flags ladies, and don’t put yourself where I am now. It’s so hard.

Reading this reply and a few other comments, I recommend project management. It’s hard to break into without experience but I see people get hired with volunteer and non-profit experience. Good project managers are hard to find and are compensated accordingly. IT project managers especially. In my opinion it ties in with a journalist skillset because you have to learn a fair bit about the subject matter to manage the work.
