Nothing wrong with that. Plus, so far it's been less than a week. But I'd consult with a lawyer first, to make sure you don't accidentally incriminate yourself. 2	How can we most effectively stand against the Selective Service? I don't think there are any such proposals, or at least I haven't heard of them. The focus is mostly on abolishing the mandatory service, and for some groups/people, also disbanding the army entirely. We voted one year ago to either keep or get rid of the mandatory service (and all related obligations such as the tax) but women not having any obligations hardly came up in public debates. If and when this miracle occurs, who do you expect to come and save you. I'm only supporting the abolition of the mandatory service. I'm fine with an army of volunteers. Different countries, different laws to fight, but same principles. In Switzerland, we have mandatory military (or civil) service for men. Ah I see your point with Kuwait better now. I brought up Switzerland because I find it a bit disturbing that it still happens in the West. You might also find it interesting to know that in Switzerland women couldn't vote until 1971, but on the other hand men had to serve in the military (or face other consequences for not serving). Or in Kuwait, where only men are obligated to serve in the military in exchange for citizenship and get the right to vote. No need to even go as far as Kuwait. Much closer to Belgium, Switzerland also has mandatory military or civil service for men only. If you can't serve, you have to pay a tax until somewhere in your thirties, even if you're unable to serve due to a disability.
