Very fair point, I totally get where you're coming from. I just don't have the time or the energy to try to be the one that changes that. Believe me I wish I did, but I'll have to just stick to doing that in my own real world rather than an online one. I feel I can have more influence on that than this unfortunately

By British law, women cannot commit rape. The Sexual Offences Act 2003: Section 1 defines rape as a person (A) committing an offence if "he intentionally penetrates the vagina, anus or mouth of another person(B) with his penis" and "B does not consent to the penetration, and A does not reasonably believe that B consents". Women can commit sexual assault, but not rape. What gets me even more is that the offender in these scenarios is always referred to as "he" - for absolutely no reason.

This reminds me of a huge controversy (read "tonne of bullshit") on my uni's spotted page. Admittedly I did read this on the Daily Mail, but apparently this couple have had 3 children removed from them in the past, all of whom are now adopted. There is more information here that we need to know before condemning these social workers. Quotas always annoy me. The way I see it, the best people for the job should be running the company, or in government or whatever. If the best 200 politicians in the entire country were all women, I would have no problem with them being in charge, because the best people would be doing the job.
