yeah to repost I have not experienced much positive success in online dating. Online networking that leads to dates, that might work (like joining a group or something, or talking through friends of friends or whatever)

Dang I guess I feel lucky to be away from people who care about what I call myself to the point where I have to worry about triggering someone by saying I'm "single"

marriage is a religious institution for raising children and furthering the production of society while maintaining its stability. The satisfaction one experiences in a marriage may vary, but when the clear goal of raising a family is shared and worked towards, things can work out "ok". Unfortunately many are growing up with broken families and may not have experienced a semblance of normality to understand or believe in this, and the current crop of men/women do not possess the skills necessari…

maybe they are on the same drugs (LSD) as well; you may be aware that it has been suggested that a fungus caused actual witch hallucinations during the salem witchcraft hysteria http://www.pbs.org/wnet/secrets/witches-curse-clues-evidence/1501/ Caporael, now a behavioral psychologist at New York’s Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, soon noticed a link between the strange symptoms reported by Salem’s accusers, chiefly eight young women, and the hallucinogenic effects of drugs like LSD. LSD is a de…

I don't believe AWALT inherently, but it is a distorted way of life characteristic of our times and the various social pressures that force this to exist. NAWALT, women are in a sense to be dependent on the man's resources however in healthy relationships there is a reciprocal give-and-take where the woman is grateful, does things to brighten the man's day, takes care of house and children, etc.

Maybe you can love them for real now in spite of their deficiencies

This is probably because the reproductive act is physically draining, and family responsibilities can be physically/emotionally draining and time-intensive

Feminism has made both men and women miserable, it has forced them in to unnatural conditions

In my view MGTOW at its core is just "men going their own way", typically referring to single men not marrying for whatever reason (not yet or never). Therefore I would expect disagreement and a diversity of views under this umbrella, or at least I also do not identify with the "MGTOW community" as a whole necessarily. For instance, I think it is a reasonable societal expectation that men pursue relationships actively, however I also was not parented with this kind of "pushiness" as some others …

The three issues as per my current understanding are: a. problems with women, b. problems with self, c. problems with conditions of marriage. With a I don't know of any women who are marriage material, interested in marriage, interested in me, and so on, a mix of these. With b I need to work on saving more money and career and other things like that. And c is kind of related to the others, but I am concerned with how a no fault divorce could play out, and haven't met the kind of woman I feel I c…

Yes good point, artificial birth control must be voluntarily abolished; it would probably be impossible to make illegal or undesirable, hence the use of it has to be considered to be wrong and social enforcement of no use of it via ostracism has to be encouraged. Also fornication culture has to go
/r/MGTOW10/07/16 03:25 PM

nope, explain why this is wrong as it was the norm only some years ago. Economically independent women = feminist = marriage rates plummet (edit: also this is basic division of labor)

this is because the schools are feminized

There seem to be two camps of MGTOWs, basically those never planning on marrying regardless of conditions/women, and those who would like to marry but won't/can't because of circumstances/suitable mates (and there may be jumping from one camp to the other at times). Hence the goal for those of the latter group is to change a. conditions, b. ourselves, and c. women. I believe that it is probably not possible to fix everything, however we can max out our best conditions as per the circumstances, a…

Well you know I'm ok with that route if someone can strictly prove that we're doomed. AFAIK that's not the case, and I see plenty of places where reversal can happen. It doesn't really have to have everything be fixed, we can just have our little bubbles or oases from the madness, at least comparatively speaking

Happy birthday! Yeah totally, expectations kept going lower and lower until I have been expecting nothing in some circumstances; also, I've realized that I have high expectations in areas some people have low expectations and I don't believe they should, hence in general I don't try to expect others to value what I value or whatever as I do

ha! I have a bit more resources and fighting spirit than that, I think men can do more than that and would hope to get a proactive plan going on. But if that is all that can be done, the question is how to add more fuel to the fire to turn up the heat...

Hmm, love does exist, maybe you've seen some nice old couples who love each other. Unfortunately these civilized "love skills" have not been transmitted as much to the younger generations who are typically filled with lusts rather than love

It's honestly shocking that it's declining so much; not that I'm surprised given how things are, but that this is actually happening
/r/MGTOW09/07/16 05:59 AM

that's actually normal, more women should live at home until they're married because if they live on their own they are economically independent and then will not as easily transition to depending on a man to provide for them in a household
/r/MGTOW09/07/16 05:16 AM

Women are supposed to be at home depending fully on the man, they are not supposed to have full-time jobs because this floods the labor market and drives down the value of man's labor and also forces the workplace to be feminized (wherever employers are forced to hire women). Obviously there can be exceptions where necessary, but shaming women for depending on the man is basically feminism in my book or not in line with my philosophy of the household. I understand that the illusion of equality i…
