You've got to be kidding me. "Patricia Leavy, PhD: A Challenge to Boys and Men: Will You Help Stop Rape Culture?"If you do ask please ask /r/askfeminists because it will most likely be taken down if you post it on just the regular subreddit | /r/MensRights | 20/03/13 09:51 PM
Well now I know at least.. (repost from r/WTF)You might want to edit a "/s" to the end of it so signify the sarcasm. If you are worried about creating enemies or losing your internet points. | /r/MensRights | 28/11/12 07:39 PM
A question about why men are scapegoated in our rape culture. In America during the 1970's a black man might have been assaulted by racist cops for flirting with a white girl. Was he doing something wrong? No, but people learned that if they wanted to be in an interracial relationship it was safer in to be in one in private. Racism is wrong and was wrong, but the people doing it didn't care. If they saw something they didn't like and they would take matters into their own hands. It is a similar situation with rapists. They both have sick minds that are rea… | /r/MensRights | 14/06/12 05:07 AM
You want privilege? You got it!I can see the situation with the numbers and sizes changing from store to store, but I actually have the same problem even though they actually use an measurements by inches. I have only found one store with jeans in my size and they cost around 150 so I'm not buying them as that is way out of my price range, though they are a superior fabric to normal jeans. On the issue of quality, Express a popular store has $50 dress shirts that loose color after 3 or 4 washes. I might have made it seem that… | /r/MensRights | 03/05/12 07:21 PM
You want privilege? You got it!I do shop at Kohl's, but they don't carry my size. The closest I can find is a 32x32 instead of a 30x34 (I don't know if I'm putting them in the right order. I find that if I try on a bunch of stuff I eventually find a pair that is just a bit longer and skinnier. That's how I get most of my jeans. | /r/MensRights | 03/05/12 06:04 AM
You want privilege? You got it!Thanks for the /r/tall link. I definitely check it out. Where do you find 34 in-seems and a skinny waist, or is it just not as skinny as me? I only know of one store and their jeans are around 150 American Dollars per pair. Personally you might like Casual Male XL if you are in the US. I can't shop there as you have to be both big and tall, but my dad and uncle use it for lots of things. They have shoes up to size 17. | /r/MensRights | 03/05/12 05:46 AM
You want privilege? You got it!I am a man and I can not where a suit without tailoring. I am 6'2" with a 30" waist and with broad shoulders. Most my dress shirts have big bulges on the sides because my waist is much smaller than my chest. When I was in the 6th grade I was teased, enough to actually make me quit an after school club, because my shorts where "too short". I only wore short shorts because even though I was 5'10" I had to buy my pants from the kids section because I had a 26" waist. Luckly, I started competitive s… | /r/MensRights | 03/05/12 05:25 AM
"Out of about a hundred posters that went up around campus to advertise this event [Men's rights seminar], all but two were ripped down within a day."If you have normal concrete sidewalks you could buy some sidewalk chalk and write and draw stuff about the event. You do have to do some touch ups if it rains. | /r/MensRights | 22/04/12 01:41 AM
