4 years ago I found the red pill and it warped my perception of women. I’m here to warn other young men.I’ve been lifting weights since I was 14 years old, I didn’t need TRP to know that lifting weights is a good thing :) There is some of advice that is good in that sub (lifting weights is one of them) but is overshadowed by all the negativity. Men can learn that lifting weights is good for them from more positive sources on the internet and elsewhere. | /r/ExRedPill | 08/01/20 07:08 PM
4 years ago I found the red pill and it warped my perception of women. I’m here to warn other young men.I agree, certain generalizations can be helpful and can help fine tune a mans behavior in a way that makes him more attractive. The problem arises when toxic misogynistic lies are disguised as “generalizations.” These don’t help and only hurt their relationships with women. I won’t dispute the fact that there are nuggets of truth littered in TRP, but overall I think it’s harmful because some of the generalizations are not true or only apply to a minority of women. When you talk to more and more … | /r/ExRedPill | 08/01/20 08:50 AM
4 years ago I found the red pill and it warped my perception of women. I’m here to warn other young men.Hey man I’ve been where you are. I know how it is. You want to understand women better so you can be empowered in your own life, and have the ability to form relationships with women you are attracted to. There’s nothing wrong with that. Don’t ever think that the curiosity and drive to learn and better yourself is bad. That’s not the problem. The problem is the material you’re learning from. Red Pill philosophy is a toxic way to think. Learning to hate women will not make your life better, it wo… | /r/ExRedPill | 08/01/20 08:27 AM
4 years ago I found the red pill and it warped my perception of women. I’m here to warn other young men.I was thinking about writing this for a long time. I know how deeply harmed psychologically I was by red pill philosophy. It was a very toxic way to think and prevented me from forming healthy relationships and having positive interactions with women. I want to prevent others from ever having to go through what I did and help as many people as I can. One thing I learned over the years is to question everything. The moment you stop asking questions/having healthy skepticism is the moment you begi… | /r/ExRedPill | 08/01/20 08:05 AM
4 years ago I found the red pill and it warped my perception of women. I’m here to warn other young men.I wrote an in depth reply to this on my post on the blue pill, I’ll paste it again here: “Thanks! What made me realize it was wrong was a combination of things. One of them was that I befriended and dated some amazing women who were nothing like what TRP, or any of the materials I read said they were. My direct experience provided evidence that contradicted everything I had learned from “swallowing the pill.” Another one was that I realized I was more miserable than ever after discovering TRP. | 18 | 4 years ago I found the red pill and it warped my perception of women. I’m here to warn other young men.My problem was a combination of low self esteem, low confidence, and an inability to take responsibility for my own shortcomings. That combined with being immature and emotionally vulnerable was a recipe for disaster when I discovered TRP. I’m smarter now, I have much higher self esteem and no longer blame others for my lack of success, in dating or in any other category of life. Coincidentally, my dating life has much improved. I don’t walk around with a chip on my shoulder and have a positive … | /r/ExRedPill | 08/01/20 07:55 AM
